Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this quiet, cozy cottage (The Sleepy Cat Inn), in the charming beachside town of Ventura, just one hour north of Los Angeles; 25 minutes south of Santa Barbara.
This private bungalow features a cheerful bedroom with dormer window and french door leading to small balcony; bathroom with custom decorative tile; fully-equipped kitchenette with dining area, sunny window seat and french doors to patio with view of the Ventura Harbor.
Just 1.5 miles to the beach and historic downtown Ventura.
Note: There are stairways with 40 steps from the street to the cottage. The bungalow accommodates two people comfortably for short stays; for long-term stays of a month or more, we recommend one person. No smoking is allowed on the premises. No pets.

My boyfriend and I had the best time in this little bungalow. We stayed for 3 days, it was beautiful and very comfortable.. perfect for a short stay. The bungalow was spotless maybe a little TLC but nothing crazy. We are locals, from Camarillo, but in town for a wedding so we made a ‘stay-cation’ out of it. The views were spectacular overlooking all of ventura, and privacy was perfect! (No sounds of cars, lawn mowers, etc.) The host was also very attentive and polite, everything went by smoothly. Can’t wait to be back!!

We love Christy’s Mediterranean oasis! Perfect location. Excellent walking neighborhood. Great walking to E Main St for smoothies, sandwiches and more. Beautifully decorated, super clean and gorgeous sunset views. We will be back! One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed in. Top of our list.

The neighborhood is very nice and the host has been very kind and available. The cottage is cute but needs upgrades especially for the small kitchen area (we had issue with ants coming from a the grout lines of a very old countertop and stove) and bathroom shower. Conclusion: it is a great solution for a short stay and if your need of using the kitchen is limited. You need car to go to downtown but you have beautiful views from up there.
