Villa Ciriaco Sea Star

Grande casa a due piani con tutto quello che serve, in particolare cucina molto attrezzata con macchina del caffè, tostapane, bollitore e lavastoviglie! Giardino dove stendere costumi e teli bagnati e letti molto comodi. In generale casa e giardino tutti pulitissimi!

Unica pecca in questo idillio l’acqua della doccia che fatica a rimanere calda. Bisogna lavorarci un po’ ma si sopravvive anche così.

We couldn’t wish for a better stay! The accommodation had everything we needed. Great beds, a bbq, beautiful garden, just a 10min walk from the town, great WiFi for remote ‘work’, there even was a very spacious broom closet which has been of great use. Host Rosa was the best, she even baked us a very nice cheesecake upon arrival. And provided us with some beach towels since we forgot to pack them.

Location is just perfect, its quiet and close to the city centre as well. Also it's a few minutes walk to the beach in case you fancy an early morning surf session. The backyard with bbq place is also very convenient.

Nothing worth mentioning. The stay was really nice in all aspects.

The house is nice and clean. There are a few restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets nearby. It is a 20m walk to get to the city center, which can be a bit far but close enough. Overall, it met the expectations.

- The house has stairs at the entrance which can be an accessibility problem. For us it was not the most convenient considering the baby stroller. - There is no central heating, but an electric heater was provided considering we were there during winter time. It was enough. - The washing machine has no drying option. - The barbecue in the backyard was very rusty, so we couldn't really use it. - It was not really problematic, but we were surprised that the house owner lives in the house basement. It was not mentioned in the ad. - Since she lives in the basement, the car has to be parked outside of the house. So, even thought it looks like there is a garage from the pictures, it is not available for use. - When we left the house the owner messaged me asking about a small plastic shelf missing from the fridge. I told her we didn't remove anything from the fridge, honestly that is not the type of thing I pay attention. She said we were lying and wanted the money for that (27 euros). I have never been treated like that before and we travel a lot. I went back to the house and gave her 50 if that was the problem. I have no reasons for lying even more for something so small. She ended up apologising and sent my money back. In any case, be careful and do a checklist with her if you decide to stay in her property.
