The owner and family were extremely friendly and welcoming. After a lot of travelling that was much appreciated. The common areas are very clean and it is very quiet and peaceful.
The room had a coffee station, a fridge and a microwave, which came in handy.
The property no longer offers any meals and one cannot order take-out for delivery. The area is unsafe to walk in to go get food.
There is a fully functional kitchen at the guests disposal, but one has to pre-purchase all food in advance.
As a woman, sharing a single bathroom with 6 - 8 other people was a bit uncomfortable, but again, it was kept spotless.

Our stay at Leone Paris was a great experience. The family in the house welcomed us with open arms to use their lovely kitchen to cook. The facilities were very clean and everything was in working condition. The shops are a little far away but can be reached on foot. Also the neighbourhood was very peaceful. Comparing the value of this stay to most of the hostels in Windhoek, this place is the best value for your money. We would stay again!
