About this villa rental
Villa 6 is located in a private complex of eight houses located in front of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world Lake Atitlán. The property is only a 15 to 20 minute walk or a 10-minute drive from the center of Panajachel.
Our friendly reception staff can assist you in calling a local TukTuk (three-wheel taxi). The fare usually ranges between Q10.00 and Q15.00 (GTQ), depending on the time of day.
Lake Atitlán is the perfect place to relax with family or friends. The villa features a spacious and beautifully landscaped garden just 30 meters from the lake shore. In front of the residential area, there is a public beach where you can enjoy swimming or simply admire the breathtaking view of the three volcanoes that surround the lake.
The villa is located within a small residential area in Panajachel, peaceful yet close to everything. It is easily accessible by car or bus. In town, you’ll find many local shops, international restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and everything you might need for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
From here, you can explore the charming villages around the lake, each with its own character and traditions. Boats departing near Villas Jucanya can take you to towns such as San Pedro, San Lucas, and Santiago, all named after the apostles of Jesus.
Panajachel (or “Pana,” as it’s affectionately called) is the lake’s most vibrant and lively town. Along the famous Calle Santander, you’ll find craft markets, cafes, travel agencies, and restaurants. The town blends the cultures of local Mayan artisans, Ladinos, and international residents, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere.

We loved staying in this cute little villa! It’s a bit off the beaten path, but the staff provided the number of a tuktuk driver that we used to get into town when needed. He was more expensive than other drivers though, so we typically found another ride back to Villas Jucanya once we were finished in town. Everything was clean, there was more than enough space for two of us, and it was pretty much right on the water. You can rent a private boat through the Villa that will take you around to the other villages in Lake Atitlan. They provided clean eco tanks for safe drinking water, however I would recommend sticking to bottles because I got very sick at the end of our stay.

Villa presents exactly as it is in the pictures. Unit is well equipped and nicely decorated. Villa is right on the lake. Transportation would be needed to get to the busy part of Panajachel and restaurants.

The house was located literally steps from the lake where you could hire a panga boat (lancha) to take you for a tour of the lake or to visit one of the beautiful indigenous communities. The view of the lake and volcanoes as sunset is breath taking
The house had large windows making the house nice and bright, from the master suite you have a panaramic view of the complex and sunset. My family and I would definitely stay again.
