About this cottage rental
Bella Costa is a new (built in spring 2019), beautiful beach cottage located on the West end of Panama City in Laguna Beach Estates. It is just 2 short blocks from the pristine, undeveloped white sands of Laguna Beach. Our cottage is far enough away from the hustle/bustle and traffic of Thomas Drive but close enough to all that Panama City Beach area has to offer.
Bella Costa is a “beachy farmhouse modern” 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home. It will accommodate 6 people comfortably. There is a king bed, queen bed, and 3 twin beds (2-bunk, 1-trundle). The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, glass-top stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, utensils, coffee maker (Keurig Dual brews a regular pot and single pod), toaster and blender. It includes all bedroom linens, bathroom towels, stacked full sized washer/dryer, 2 wide screen smart TV’s with access to YouTube TV and guest Netflix, high-speed internet, keyless push button door lock, outdoor video security at each entry point, outdoor (hot/cold) shower, outdoor patio with 4 chairs, a 18" Weber Kettle charcoal grill. We only rent to families and have a minimum age requirement of 28. We do not rent to student groups (although we appreciate your interest). No smoking allowed on property. Only weekly rentals are available in June and July from Saturday to Saturday.
Our beach cottage is located in Laguna Beach Estates which is an older neighborhood with lots of history and character with an eclectic mix of old and new homes. We like to call it old school cool! Laguna Beach is not 30A and we are absolutely fine with that. The neighborhood is a safe, family friendly area and a popular destination because of its gorgeous, low key beach. The dedicated beach area is undeveloped with beautiful sand dunes and soft, white sand. There are no high-rise buildings/condos here at Laguna Beach. Homeowners pay a yearly fee to keep our beautiful beach in its gorgeous, natural state.
Listed below are just a few of nearby shops, restaurants and attractions that will help add fun to your vacation!
• The Carousel Supermarket is 1-mile away and is a locally owned grocery store that offers the best selection of beer, wine, and meats on the beach at great prices! It also has a package store, gift/home accessories shop and beach gear just in case you may have forgotten any at home.
• The famous Thomas’ Donuts and Snack Shop is a quick 1 mile from the cottage. It serves amazing donuts, kolaches, ice-cream, hamburgers, hot dogs and more.
• Pier Park Mall is a 4-mile drive and has an amazing array of retail shops and restaurants.
• Bella Costa is also only 3-miles away from the wonderful PCB Conservation Park. It offers several outdoor recreational activities like hiking, biking and running. There is a total of 24 miles of well-marked, flat surfaced trails including a mile of boardwalks. It offers a wonderful, up close look at the native wildlife and flora of this area.
• Camp Helen State Park is 4.5-miles West. This one is for all history and adventure types alike. The park is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, the largest dune lake in Florida. It includes historic buildings which were a part of a company resort for the employees of Avondale Mills. Activities include swimming, hiking, salt/freshwater fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking (rentals available for a fee). A state park fee of $4 per vehicle is charged.
• The Eastern entry of historic 30a Hwy is located 6-miles away to the West. It is a 2-lane highway that meanders along Florida’s gulf coast. Within this route you will find the quaint villages of Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, Santa Rosa Beach and Grayton Beach as well as two state parks: Deer Lake SP and Grayton Beach SP. It’s wonderful daytrip with many restaurants and shops to check out.
*The Frank Brown Baseball/Softball Complex is only 4 miles away and Laguna Beach Christian Retreat is less than 1/2 mile from the property.

*Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am.
*A maximum of 2 cars allowed to park on the property.
*THIS HOME IS NO-SMOKING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. This means absolutely no smoking inside or on the property porches outside (vape and e-cigs included). No exceptions.
*Guests must be 28 years of age to rent our cottage and only registered guests are allowed on the premises (day visitors allowed only with host approval). No student groups please.
*Quiet hours are from 9pm to 9am.

This house’s location was perfect for us. It was just short drive to endless restaurants, stores, and various types of entertainment. If we felt like going to the beach it was a few blocks away. The house was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed. We stayed in December, and would love to return during another season. Thanks for a great stay!

We stay on 30A quite often so we’ve been to our fair share of rental properties and this one is definitely at the top of the list. The house is cozy and cute on a quiet street. The use of the golf cart was a big highlight for the kids. It was a quick ride to the beach. We love this time of year as the beach was almost deserted. The location of the home was perfect. It was very close to Pier Park and all the restaurants, but still felt far enough away from the hustle of the city. It was nice not to be right on 30A which made it quiet and relaxing. Loved being away from the high rises. Highly recommend this place and we definitely want to stay here again if there is an opening.

We enjoyed our stay for some much needed rest and family time. The cottage was as advertised, communications were excellent, and the semi-private beach was great, not overly crowded. The golf cart made for short trip and helped with transporting everything. Thank you!
