Genteel Home Arfe Terrace

The apartment was beautiful and perfectly clean, and halfway through our stay the cleaners came to top up our towels and bed linens and freshen the place up, which was a really nice touch. The private terrace was our main reason for choosing the apartment and it didn’t disappoint; it was pretty well kept which is not always the case for a lot of properties, and there were sun loungers and chairs so our whole group could sit up there and even have dinner up their one of the evenings. Just be careful with the umbrella, as it was not weighted down and we were worried it was going to fall over the edge, for this reason we avoided using it which was a shame as it was very hot while we visited. The location was amazing, within walking distance of everything (the cathedral is literally round the corner) and there are supermarkets in the area to stock up the kitchen. An unexpected pro of the property was that there is only one other apartment sharing the building, which I think is run by the same company, this is great as it doesn’t feel like you’re disturbing locals when entering/leaving or using the terrace. All in all a great stay and we would definitely come back!

There was nothing we didn’t like, but it would be great to have a printed guidebook (instructions on how to use things etc) for guests who prefer not to read info on their phone :)

The location is perfect, you can literally walk to everything

The noise from outside when you’re trying to sleep. People are drinking all night at nearby venues and it can be really loud. Then you have the waste collections every morning. They need sound proof windows

Convenient location and well-equipped kitchen. Terrace is very beautiful with an excellent view.

Stairs very steep, air conditioning did not work. Chairs were broken. Wish there was parking.
