The location was excellent – within easy walking distance of Alberobello town centre while still being peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was carried out daily, towels were changed on request, and complimentary water and snacks were replenished each day, which was a lovely touch. The property is around a 10–15 minute walk from the main attractions and restaurants, making it convenient without being in a noisy tourist area. I felt very safe walking to and from the property, even as a solo female traveller. The room was quiet at night, allowing for a great night’s sleep, and the air conditioning worked well during the warm June temperatures. Wifi worked well. I didn’t rent a car but I do believe there is parking as Marianna mentioned a car park at the back. As a black, solo female traveller, I felt completely safe walking to and from the property, even in the evenings. If you prefer a taxi, they’re readily available and cost around €20 for a short 7-10 minute journey. Breakfast each morning consisted of a selection of pastries, juice and hot drinks prepared fresh and could be eaten on the terrace. It was a calm and relaxing way to start the day. The biggest highlight of my stay was undoubtedly Marianna. She is one of the sweetest and most welcoming hosts I have met while travelling. She provided fantastic recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and local experiences, and genuinely went above and beyond to make me feel at home. She was warm and accommodating and super kind, with great communication. I would particularly recommend this property for solo travellers and couples looking for a peaceful, authentic stay within walking distance of Alberobello’s attractions. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe, welcomed, and looked after throughout my stay.

I liked every about my stay. There was a small misunderstanding regarding the swimming pool, as I initially believed it was located on the property. However, this has since been clarified and updated on the Booking.com listing, so future guests should not encounter the same confusion. My only reason for not giving full marks for the facilities was the shower. The water pressure was excellent, but as a taller and curvier guest, I found the shower space a little tight and difficult to manoeuvre in comfortably. That said, it did not negatively impact my overall stay, I still was able to shower and the overall bathroom is a great size, clean, modern and good lightening. Not sure if possible to remove the shower screen and maybe have it more like an open plan mini wet room around the space??

Dimora Romano è molto accogliente come la sua padrona di casa, Marianna, che ci ha accolto e coccolato fin dal primo momento dandoci consigli azzeccatissimi su cosa vedere e cosa gustare in zona! Fidatevi di lei! Grazie Marianna! La nostra camera era grande, fresca, silenziosa, perfettamente pulita e fornita di tutto e molto più di quello che ci aspettavamo. La colazione è abbondante e abbiamo avuto la possibilità di consumarla in terrazza con vista su un immenso parco verde. In 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro e il Trullo Sovrano, lasciando comodamente l'auto nel parcheggio privato adiacente la casa! Consigliatissima!

Marianna est super accueillante. Elle prend le temps de bien tout expliquer, nous recommande ce qu’il y a manger aux alentours, nous indique le chemin pour aller dans le centre et la zone des trulli. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, la chambre est très spacieuse et agréable. L’emplacement du lieu est excellent (15min à pied du centre) je recommande vivement cet établissement ! Merci Marianna pour l’accueil et votre gentillesse!
