Darjeeling Heights - A Boutique Mountain View Homestay

I had a wonderful stay with my family at this beautiful homestay owned by Mr. Sudarshan.. The property is surrounded by stunning views, the food was delicious and homely, and the warmth of the staff made all the difference. A special mention to the manager, Vikash — he was incredibly helpful and accessible for everything, big or small, throughout our stay. Mr. Sudarshan and his entire team added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. I had planned this trip for my mother, and she absolutely loved every moment, especially the thoughtful gestures and care from everyone. Nothing as such but you can work upon the housekeeping aspect on regular basis especially in the family rooms

This is a charming and cozy property nestled at the top of Darjeeling. The bed warmers provided were a thoughtful touch, perfect for the chilly nights. The host was incredibly helpful and kind — he offered excellent local recommendations and even assisted us with booking all our trips. What makes this place truly special is their adorable dog, Yogi, who happily accompanies guests. Bikas was remarkably responsive and attentive, always available even at 2 AM if we needed anything. A wonderful place with wonderful people — highly recommended!

One minor issue — some of the plug points were loose and tended to come out of the sockets, but nothing major. One suggestion is to add more items in the menu.

The quadraple room has a nice view, and on a clear morning one can see the Kanchendonzga. Vikas is an excellent caretaker, and he makes sure that the guests have a comfortable stay. The food available is homecooked and tasty. The place is located uphill, but the tranquility of the area makes up for the uphill ride/walk.

One has to walk uphill for quite some time to reach the hotel. This is good for younger people, and also gives you a 'hilly' experience. This is however not recommended for older people. The staff at the hotel are very nice, and they provide a car (with additional cost) for you.
