Salento. Il giardino in piazza

Il soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. Un angolo di paradiso nel mezzo del Salento, dove vigeva una pace e un'armonia singolari. I proprietario, Simonetta e Marco, sono stati super accogliente e gentili tanto da farci sentire subito a casa, in una location da sogno. Il giardino interno alla struttura è incantevole e la sua cura lo rende speciale. E' stata molto dura andare via e salutare quell'angolo di paradiso e le persone che ci abitano. La location, Galugnano, è ottima perchè ogni destinazione dista circa 20 min in auto quindi è comodissima. Speriamo di ritornarci al più presto.

a beautifully decorated house from the 16th century with a high vaulted ceiling typical of the Pugliese climate was the first thing that impressed us. the apartment was clean, tidy and decorated with style. Mrs. Simonetta warmly welcomed us, even though we arrived after the check-in time due to traffic jams. the kitchen was well equipped, and in the refrigerator we were greeted with local figs from the huge garden with over 120 olive trees and other various plants located at the property, bottles of water and juices. for breakfast with a view of the beautiful large garden, we had specialty desserts, fresh and delicious, which Mrs. Simonetta baked herself, fig cake, coffee, yogurts and juices. we also received a savory breakfast (a selection of cheeses typical for the region), olive oil that the hosts make themselves, and tomatoes. Our host advised us on which attractions to visit, and was always ready to help and fulfill our wishes. It was our first time traveling with a baby, so it was important to us that we had peace and quiet and the conditions for the baby to stay. The hosts prepared a crib and a high chair for the baby, and home-grown plums from the garden for porridge, which was a bonus. What impressed us the most was the warm host, who really made us feel at home the whole time. That’s why we highly recommend staying at this beautiful place and hope to come again ourselves! Everything. It was rare oportunity to find perfect place and talk to interesting people. Owners, rooms, garden. I want to keep this memories. Hope it 'll last.
