Apartamento Fuerte 1

Todo excelente, los anfitriones siempre pendientes de nuestra comodidad, se anticiparon a todo, un sitio que recomiendo y sin ninguna duda, repetiremos.

Very kind host that personally handed us the keys and showed us around the apartment (on the first floor) and the balcony (third floor). Kitchen was extremely well equipped, we missed for nothing, large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, spacious living room. Good starting point to explore the island when with a car. Close by some restaurants, cafes and markets with food, apartment for 1-2 people in a clean and organized apartment block. The washer and balcony is shared between three apartments, balcony is separate from the apartment and also shared. Plenty of free parking spots nearby. At the edge of town, close to the industrial area. Quick enough and stable internet connection, which is a necessity as the apartment seems to act a bit like a Faraday cage (weaker mobile phone signal).

Apartment has a shared balcony. From windows in the kitchen you can see the inner yard and the neighboring block, from the window in the bedroom you see other windows on the joint hallway or neighbors and the downstairs patio. Getting air into the bedroom is a bit problematic, noise comes from the other apartments, also any smells of potential smokers and voices of children or adults, so you are left with the decision to hope for fresh air or to be able to sleep. Bathroom with the toilet is functional, albeit small. Could use some more hangers to hang our clothes, particularly in the long empty hallway connecting the main door to the kitchen. The kitchen table could be larger. In the apartment description we missed the fact that the apartment and balcony terrace are not connected (one on first floor, second on third floor), which is the key reason for not returning to this location.

Clean and comfortable. Host were nice. Comfortable bed.

Extremely far from Anything. The small beach and town were about 30 minute walk. And the walk was through a mostly run down neighborhood. The patio advertised was not part of the apartment, but upstairs and shared, and with everything being so far we didn’t go back to the apartment during the day so we didn’t get to use it.
