Ming Hu B&B

The hotel is a couple minutes from the pier and offers discounts to ferries and bike rentals. It is very clean and modern with expansive views of the lake! The hosts are exceptional and shared local tips for the best Sun Moon Lake experience.

It is conveniently located with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It is less than 5 minutes walk away from the lake itself. This view can be enjoyed from the B&B itself, especially if you picked the top floor. The host was super helpful with questions and try to help with any special request. The breakfast is included,and with a message personally written, it adds a nice touch to the B&B. There was nothing wrong with place itself, everything works as intended.

It is nothing against the property, but definitely consider a lower floor if mobility is an issue that you have. The flight of stairs may pose a problem for those with that problem.

Great hotel in an awesome location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Bathtub with lake view was amazing. Good WiFi, tv and aircon.

Fabulous location on tje waterfront overlooking the piers where the boats that travel around the lake leave from. Surrrounded by shops, restaurants and convenience stores as well as walking distance to the main bus station, including the only bus that goes to Alishan from Sun Moon Lake. Very friendly staff on check-in. Very clean room with many thoughtful touches. Make sure the refridgerator is plugged in when you enter your room - we didn't check and didn't plug it in. Bags were carried to the room for us. Breakfast vouchers for the 7/11 behind the bus station (not the one at the bus station) as we had an early check out.

Shower head fitting to wall meant the shower head couldn't be angled down. I just held the shower head instead to shower.
