Nice hotel, staff can’t converse in english.

Excellent beach, great locals plus rickshaw drivers were good., hotel too far from other locations meant the taxi drivers were ripping us off.

Rooms cleaned but floors not swept and wanted a deposit of £60.00 for any damage to property. Breakfast mediocre, staff not trained and main cook can’t even cook an omelette properly. Rude restaurant staff. Expensive. Breakfast tasteless, Not value for money.

Nice rooms let down by poor service culture

Beautiful and large room, very good breakfast buffet, nice pool, easy access to the beach, acceptable hotel gym, easy to get tuktuks or to walk to a few other things nearby. Very close to the airport and overall a pretty good value!

The hotel has this bizarre decrepit, bombed-out looking parallel wing of the hotel in front of it (blocking sea view) that’s very spooky and strange. The walks to the room are very long as the hotel is linear and most of the “stuff” is at one end. The front staff are fairly unfriendly and their English was lacking to the point we couldn’t discuss that there were errors with my bill. The hotel charges for small things and makes a big deal about them. They wouldn’t let me check out (with my airport taxi waiting) until I either found my room key or paid a fine for it … and this sort of thing was fairly common. Signs about charges for missing towels, etc. Honestly all the threatened charges made a very nice hotel feel rather cheap

Beautiful property in lovely grounds. Amazing swimming areas. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Well equipped.

Two minor points here. It’s a great location if you want to completely relax as there’s nothing much to do nearby and you are an hour at least away from Phuket Old Town. Also I felt the constant notices about being fined for smoking, then being fined for removing food from the restaurant, and then again being fined for bringing certain fruit in to the hotel rather unfriendly and dictatorial. Would have been nicer if better expressed. Eg “We kindly ask guests not to take food out if the restaurant”.

Not leaving a tip for this lot

The pool was good

The room was miles from reception. The key card didn't work 3 times in a row...it was a long walk to fix that. Not one of the reception staff gave an apology. The TV needed an engineer. The ac needed an engineer who didn't fix it. There were no instructions . I used the bike they offered but they took it back without my Knowledge which caused me much anguish as I thought it had been stolen. The original advert offered 10% off food and drinks for residents. They denied this until proven wrong, they then said alcohol was not a drink. Dishonest. There was a buggy system to the rooms, but often it was quicker to walk. I sent customer services a text about the key card shambles. They couldn't be bothered to respond. The very minor staff were helpful , but it wasn't down to them.

Disappointed and mislead

It was close to the airport and most of the staff were friendly.

The online pictures are quite old and misleading. We got this place hoping the kids playroom and splash pool would be good for our toddler. The kids play room does not look like it is regularly cleaned. Mats had black marks all over, and just didn't look like much care was put into it. We stayed for 5 nights and only used it once. The splash pool was ok, however there was rust all over it. Also after the first day, the water features stopped working. I assume it was turned off by the staff, so that sucked. We had requested items from the front desk on 4 different occasions, but only received it one time. Other times we ended up asking the housekeepers (who were very nice) for them directly when we saw them. When we emailed to book a car to pick us up at the airport with them, they were extremely slow to respond after the payment, and I had to send chasers. Did not receive an actual confirmation until I was literally landing on the runway. Pretty sure we had termites or something in our bathroom door. We thought it was sand at first, but massive amounts of pebbly bits (wood?) kept appearing overnight below the door. We had hoped to be able to stay mostly at the resort for our trip since that would have been easiest with a toddler. What we saw online looked perfect for that. However the kids playroom cleanliness was circumspect, and the splash pool was not splashing. So ended up travelling into the city each day, which was about 45 minutes each way. Overall it was unfortunately one of the worst stays we've had. Hopefully the hotel does some meaningful work to update and maintain their facilities.

Magical Thailand Hotel with large pool.

This was a beautiful hotel that exceeded expectations due to its online photos. I thought it was going to be a little over the top with all the gold extra. It has a real calmness and every room has a pool view because the pool wraps around the whole property. It is traditional Thai throughout which we love - nighttime this hotel has a magical atmosphere. We will be back to stay longer next time as we needed only one night to fly out late from Phuket. The Bellboy was so happy and cheerful. The rooms were inexpensive. I have video on @stony_coral

Family of 5 - Highly recommend

Family of 5 2 X pool access rooms 12 night stay Loved the pool rooms, the buffet breakfast each day changed the menu items which were all delicious. They offered free transport to and from the rooms which was great for those long days out. Swim up bar was great, food at both restaurants was lovely. My kids are fussy eaters so one restaurant had all the things they loved.

I can't say anything was bad, our first time in Thailand and this hotel was worth every cent we spent.

Hotel is a very long bar. Take 10min walk to go breakfast. They said they have a car service, we called but 50% of time we waited 30min but never came so we walked.. to go beach we needed to to to the entry very far away from our room so we had to walk again…beach is front of the hotel but on the other side of the road.

Totally fine for a short break

The hotel was clean, and room was big. The swimming pool enormous, and the location near the airport meant we really made the most of our weekend away. Food was good, and nothing to complain about.

Everything was fine, but I probably wouldn't be shouting reccomendations about this hotel. Something felt slightly off, which is extremely hard to explain! Totally fine, and nothing major wrong.

Book well in advance, on arrival they wanted to give as a room with twin beds. They used the argument of availability, although we booked three months in advance. But this was corrected, move us to a room with one large bed.

Great Value for the Money

Good value for money. Huge resort with lots of facilities. Two big pools with swim up bars. Great kids pool. Large, well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms. Extensive buffet breakfast included. Staff were nice. The resort is directly over the road from a long, white sandy beach. Very quiet area with are a few restaurants withing walking distance, but no shops. The town is a short drive away. The whole resort is a little old and run down but it would have been five star in it's day. That is why it is the price it is.

Initially we were put into a room on the 3rd floor where the view was completely blocked by a high roof directly in front. There would only be one or two rooms in the whole complex without a nice outlook. We asked to move and were allowed to change rooms the next day.

Brilliant resort, loaded with amenities and right by the beach.

The resort is huge, just call reception when you want to go there and they send a buggy to pick you up and take you. The pool area is outstanding. If you never want to leave the resort, this one is perfect!

The only fault were the sheets weren’t overly clean looking on one of the beds, even had a small blood smear on the pillow.

I was so surised by how fantastic this resort is. Being so close to the airport but no noise. A traditional style hotel that had beautiful garden and pool area. We didn’t even get to all the pools there is so many! The family room was perfect!

Rooms are dated, funny smell and nothing felt like it was cleaned properly. To be honest I felt like the place was to big and had a little staff trying to keep it going... Around every corner you could see it just falling apart. Service was terrible. Couldn't eat the property just didn't trust the place

Very quiet place.

The hotel, the room, the territory, the pool - everything is huge. The breakfast was great. The staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. We were going to islands several days before check-in in this hotel and we asked for luggage box for our suitcases and got it for free! The hotel provides free bicycles to make the 7/11 and airplane viewpoint closer :))

The territory is very mysterious and strange. There are three abandoned buildings in front of our room, they are really scaring. There are no shops close to the hotel, you need to walk about 30 minutes or take a tuk-tuk to go the 7/11 shop, but there are some cozy local restaurants nearby.

Size of the rooms.

we requested 2 rooms close to each other as 1 rom was for the kids. They put us in 2 different buildings! We had to pay for an upgrade to have 2 rooms in the same building. Nice but very limited resort. Breakfast was ok but restaurant menu was limited and room service closed early. The hotel is far from any restaurants, cafes... There is a beach nearby but a little dirty and totally deserted.

Beautiful, just fix something and will be the best.

The room was very nice and clean, big space in the room! Very good shower, and service in the room. The swimming pool is long and nice. Clean. We liked the swimming pool. The staff in reception is good kind and helpful. Tuk tuk staff is very kind too. Hotel have beautiful plants and nice area around. Have fishes have the forest behind. Is very beautiful. Design of building very nice. We ordered a fruit for birthday and it was very beautiful and good price.

The breakfast is very very very very bad! Except For the egg’s staff, they work nice. And some staff is not very helpful! In front of the building there is a destroyed not complete building that block the view. We found a rat in the long way to go to the rooms!

Pleasant

Loved the ocean view room, was very comfortable and spacious. The bath and seating on the balcony was fabulous. Staff were very friendly and courteous at all times.

Coffee - not so good. Would have liked the option of having an espresso/cappuccino at breakfast. Could only order these at other times of the day off the menu, so need to be provide these at breakfast also. The pool bar was also not operating when we were there, we had to walk up to the restaurant to order drinks. There were also things on the dinner menu we ordered at times but advised were not available.
