Stunning One-bedroom Oasis in the Historic Shaw neighborhood.

The lower level apartment was clean and as pictured. It’s really close to the metro, stores, and restaurants plus had everything needed to cook meals throughout our stay. The neighborhood was cute and felt very safe. The host and his wife were helpful and responsive. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

The space was perfect for my husband and me to spend the week. We were able to walk to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to get groceries to prepare in the full kitchen. Wal-Mart also delivered there. It was clean and all necessities were provided. The host was very helpful and responsive. The location is a great neighborhood and only a block from the U Street train stop. Highly recommend!!

Every thing was perfect. All of our questions were answered and we had many because we were never in DC before. The bus and metro is very close by A little confusing at first but a really nice way to get anywhere you want to go. There are 2 really nice grocery stores nearby. My husband and I are 73 and 80 so we really dont like to walk too far. Many restaurants near. The house has everything you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking and everything was provided. Hope to go visit again. We had 10 days and couldnt see all there is in DC. Wonderful vacation. Thank You for letting us enjoy your house.

The property was very contemporary in style and easy on the eyes. Very spacious area. Most basic needs were met. Parking was challenging. No on site parking existed for tenants though the web site advertised on site parking. This is the primary reason we rented this particular VRBO. As a result street parking was necessary but difficult to find and varied day to day. We received a 45.00 ticket for parking at the wrong time since we didn’t see the sign in the dark of night. Some dangerous concerns were experienced: lighting was limited at the door and two family members twisted their ankles and fell; the bathtub bottom was slippery (no rubber mat or safety strips and no grab bars); the bedroom light switch was faulty. We were concerned that no towel racks or hooks existed in the bathroom to dry our towels and hang our clothes. We never met the host but he did respond in a timely manner to emails on the VRBO site. The location was convenient to restaurants and shops.
