About this cottage rental
Old garage, completely renovated in traditional rustic style of the area, with wooden roof and beautiful granite stone fireplace. It emphasizes its cozy atmosphere and careful interior decoration of a rural type, with details that will undoubtedly surprise its inhabitants. In addition, the house is very limited and very quiet.
It has 2 double rooms (1 with two beds and one with a double bed), shared bathroom, heating, fireplace with firewood, kitchen, dining room, dvd, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, living room, television. Equipped with complete utensils, household linen and kitchen appliances. It is located in a landscaped public square, with parking next to the house and possibility of barbecue. It also offers free WiFi for the occupants of the house.
The town has great public pools in the summer months, with excellent views of the mountains.
Our house is in Solosancho, a strategically located site: 8 kilometers from the Castle of Manqueospese, 10 minutes from the headquarters of the Agustín Ibarrola Foundation (whose artistic work in nature is visited); 15-20 minutes from the city of Ávila (World Heritage Site); 30 minutes from the heart of Gredos (Parador Nacional, the first in Spain); less than an hour from Segovia and the Jerte Valley ... In addition, Solosancho is a town of just over 500 inhabitants, with excellent walking areas, hiking trails (climb to the Celtic city of Ulaca, the largest in Europe, Villaviciosa Castle, etc.), or simply to enjoy the charm rural of this town or a mountain bike ride around ...
In addition to hiking, climbing and tourist visits to Ávila (world heritage city), half an hour from Solosancho (in the heart of Gredos) there are numerous possibilities for active tourism (horse riding, multi-adventure, etc).

Solosancho is a lovely quiet place and we enjoyed our stay in your cozy home. A little out of season (in September) for bar/restaurant evening eating but I suspect during mid summer there would be plenty of opportunity. Excellent trip through the mountains to the caves and a trek to the Celtic/Roman remains are a must. Easy access to splendid Ávila. We would return.

Hemos estado en la casa un fin de semana el matrimonio con dos niñas pequeñas, en general todo bien.
La casa tiene todo lo necesario, está muy limpia y la propietaria Ana hace que te sientas como en casa. Nos quedamos sin leña y se preocupó de traer enseguida más.
El pueblo cuenta con todo lo necesario, panadería, tienda, bares, etc... y el entorno es recomendable para organizar varias visitas interesantes.
Hemos pasado un buen fin de semana, haciendo visitas y a la vez descansando de la tranquilidad del pueblo.
