Villa Nordica is a lovely Scandinavian style lakefront home and a perfect location for a family vacation. Sitting on top of a small hill, it offers wonderful views of the lake. An acre of manicured lawns, private sandy bottom beach, 2 piers for relaxing and docking boats, a floating raft, huge water trampoline (shared with sister villa next door) and waterside fire pit for guests private use.

This house is ideal for families who want their own waterfront with a large yard for kids without danger of road between house and lake! Lots of space for everyone to spread out, work from home and physical distancing if need be.

Lounging on the pier, guests can enjoy the fun 'wake boarding show' that goes by. The beach between the two piers is ideal for little ones to play in the water, sandy bottom, shallow and very gradually deepening towards the end of the piers. At the beach, a beach house with living room and extra bedroom/changing room, refrigerator and comfortable lounge area for waterside relaxing.

Large deck by the main house over looking the lake and beautiful views around with dining area and gas grill. Framed by huge oak trees. Night time star gazing at its best. Beautiful scenery. Tranquility.

Kitchen is fully equipped and ready for family dinner parties. The open plan living with a new great room , kitchen and dining area offers a perfect place for the whole family to be together. There is plenty of table space for a large group, both inside and out. Cable TV and WiFi !

The design is clean, fresh and cheerful. Cathedral ceilings. Off white wooden floors through out for clean low allergen environment. Pretty china and glass cabinet full of wine glasses waiting for the vacation to start....

Villa Nordica is situated in the middle of the Powers Lake, on Jefferson Island. Couple of minutes walk to the bar/restaurant Annex, where live music and fun evenings take place. On the lake the social scene is busy, there is the wonderful and popular 'rock bar' - a shallow area in the middle of the lake where boats anchor and people mingle and have fun (volley ball and cook outs in the middle of the lake). The 4th of July fireworks on this lake are impressive, the Powers Lake Yacht Club even host a Venetian Carnival - a must see - as pontoon boats get dressed up and parade around the lake competing for a winner! Sailing school for children, regattas, dinner parties, ladies tennis, all part of the Powers Lake Yach Club activities.

Lots of festivals nearby! To mention few: Country Thunder Concert (mins away), Alpine Valley summer concerts and Lake Geneva has events through out summer...

Guests may bring their own boats and dock at Villa Finlandia's pier. Boats can be rented nearby on the lake. Ask for the info.

Wintertime the area is a wonderful place to enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, etc. Villa Nordica has its own hill for sledding, Powers Lake has a busy ice fishing scene and derby, and the nearby lakes offer ice sailing and other fun activities. There are 3 ski hills nearby; Wilmot just 7 minutes drive, Grand Geneva about the same and Alpine Valley little further. Lake Geneva hosts an international ice sculpture festival and Powers Lake has its own ice fishing derby.

Please note that during wintertime, the boathouse is not included. So the 6th bedroom, which is in the boathouse, is not included.

Any extra guests, events, parties, pets, etc, to be discussed with management with an agreement made in writing prior to booking.

NOTE: The professional maintenance crew is following official guidelines and recommendations by the CDC for the cleaning routine, disinfecting properly between bookings. Also offered is a self check-in with a smart lock.

NOTE: SISTER VILLA FINLANDIA - next door ! This is right next door to Villa Nordica, has its own waterfront, boathouse and piers. The water trampoline is shared by the two properties. The main house has 7 bedrooms, boathouse one. 21 bed spaces in all. These two villas can be rented together for large groups, weddings and special events. Listing on homeaway 272404.
