The "Holt" is a large suite with street view (electric blinds) on the top floor of a historic building (former bank, the vault door is still there) which has been transformed into a stylish apartment house with great taste. Comfortable bed (European duvet style), a lot of space, even a closed wardrobe... The room was well heated when we arrived.
Cosies and Tait's around the corner are so convenient...
I personally dislike open showers close to the bed. The elevator was a bit unconventional and very slow. We preferred using the stairs.

The location was great.
Car parking was good.
The train tunnel is better than you think.
The room was to light at the top.

High end fixtures and fittings in a charismatic , spacious heritage building .
Elevator almost unusable - awaiting repair . Self service arrival took a little sorting out initially but became second nature later !

Not sure as Booking and property owners messed up my booking and I did not realize until one hour before we were to check in.
Booking does not respond to my questions about the handling of the booking errors by Booking and property. They keep sending me these requests to rate property so after about 5 reminders for a property that I did not stay at I am responding. Hopefully this will stop the reminders to rate a property I did not stay at and have not been properly resolved
