Great value, very comfortable and friendly - happy to recommend for a stay in Willits!

Loved the size of the room, how clean it was and how it was laid out - worked really well for us.

Would have liked the electronic keys to have worked all the way through to our check out time (!) - not a problem, as the manager was able to reprogram the key so that we could get back in after we'd had an early trip out, but it would have been even better if we hadn't had to disturb him!

Clean, nicely remodeled and modern yet cozy. Plenty of power outlets and good lighting. Bathroom well appointed - as good if not better than pictures! Nespresso machine nice!!

Pillows could be better - hard and thin. Also for having great coffee, the plastic packet of sweeteners, powdered creamer were disappointing.

Pleasant Surprise

The rooms were newly renovated. It looks like. They were very clean well laid out and plenty of lighting. The furniture and amenities were plentiful and functional. It looks like it was set up for someone that could have an extended stay. Complimentary water, coffee, slippers were a nice touch as well as the greeting card.

I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the complete remodel. They did an exceptional job. Large rooms, comfortable bed and quite location. Staff was extremely attentive to our needs. Even texted nearby restaurants and things to do in the area.

Although the room was very nicely remodeled, the linens and towels were old and needed to be replaced/upgraded. That is my only negative on this property, and it is a very small aspect of the stay.

Could not get coffee maker in unit to work. I went out to get coffee early and when I returned my key wouldn’t work. Had to go to office to get it reset even though it was before 8am on checkout day.

I’d return but would ask for a room with adequate window covering.

The room was large, very clean and newly refurbished. Nice details like makeup mirror, lots of towels etc. The curtain allowed light from the security lighting outside to shine into our room. Very annoying and could easily be solved by adding window shades. If you like a dark room when you sleep be sure and request that.

a good stop over if you’re on a road trip through cali. I expected more considering the other reviews. this is a standard motel and yes, very nicely updated as far as furniture and decor goes. The room did take some time to warm up but did eventually, bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure and hot water. all in all not too bad for a short stop over.

I liked the ease of staying at Woodrose. I wish I had booked solely through the front desk, however.

Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Great lighting for reading in bed, including the little swivel light.

Close the gap under the entry door to get rid of the cold draft. Also, research a way to get hot water to the tap at the sink and shower without waiting 2 or 3 minutes for it to arrive.

The hotel was newly rnovated and spotless. The front desk was very quick at check. This is a small motel but the room had minifrige and microwave in addition to the standard coffee pot. The bed was comfortable. It had basic directTV in addition to having a smart TV. It was a great room for the price for the area. The room was small but way nicer than I was expecting for a room in this price range.

There were only flat foam pillows in the room. Full disclosure-it was late so I didnt ask if feather pillows were an option.

Quiet, clean, updated charm, and the location.

Bed was a little firm for me, but my husband likes firm, so he would say it was great. Really the only thing is the heating was a bit loud, besides that, it was the best stay in Willits I've had so far.

Exceptional

We decided to pull off 101 in Willits due to a significant rain storm. We found this hotel as a last min booking. The front desk staff was amazing. The rooms were clean. The bed was awesome. I can't imagine we will ever stay anywhere else if we need to spend a night in Willits in the future!
