Discover an unexpected beautiful stay!
The Edelweiss Hütte is in a wonderful location with a beautiful view of the Tribulaun mountain. It's a family business and they are all great to make you feel comfortable all the way through ....from getting to the location to the dinner or breakfast. Strongly recommended even for a group of motorbikes!

Exceptional
The location is amazing! You are right up in the mountains and have direct access to a number of hiking trails and to the ski slopes. The staff were fantastic, and you feel very welcome. Our car could not get into the mountains so the staff picked us up from the local town with no problems. Can definitely recommend staying!
The pillows could use an upgrade but everything else was wonderful!

Great place for maintain hikers
We like very much welcoming attitude of our hosts: Valeria and Luis. Breakfast was good consisting of sweet part (flakes, honey, jam, sweet tolls etc.) and ham and cheese. No eggs. Evening meal was always excellent. Salad for start and then two courses plus dessert. Products and quality of cooking was very high. Breakfast and diner were included in the price and served at 18:30. We did several attractive trails from the Berggasthaus and because lift was undergoing renovation, Luis helped us with transport from the Ladurnerhütte (where we parked out car and finished some of the trails) to the Edelweisshütte. An excellent place for mountain hikers.
For 10 rooms there are 4 cosy shared toilets and showers but this did not bother us too much. Washbasin was in each room. Beds could be more comfortable.

Beautiful mountain lodge, excellent for hiking tours.
This is a family run business - hotel Berghuette; the hosts were going the extra mile to make you happy as a customer. Food was nice, they do have a lake full of trout, which you can have as freshly made as you want it for lunch. Very friendly staff, and overall an absolute pleasure to stay in the mountains.
Depending on availability you might end up without a small table and chair in your room, which means it is difficult to find space for your stuff.
