The property was spacious with enough bedrooms for our large family party. The pool was a good size, and the open plan garden looked out over a wild environment where we saw deer and a wild boar come through the garden. Gardens well maintained. Matthew the English Plumber arrived very promptly when we had a blocked sink, and was extremely efficient and friendly. Reception staff very helpful when we needed high chair and hairdryer.
House decor a little tired. Some elements of maintenance could have been better especially as we were there so early in the season. The pool is unfenced so families with young children need to be especially vigilant. No stair gates or other safety features if you have young children, and a lot of glass tables!! Some basic kitchen items missing such as chopping board, oven trays. The whole of south west France hadn’t really opened for the season yet and many places operated minimal opening hours or not at all .
