About this house rental
Set in Sellano, this is a living/bedroom holiday home for a couple on a romantic getaway. It has a shared swimming pool and a sun terrace with loungers to soak up in the sin and take a refreshing dip. The plateau of Castelluccio di Norcia is one of the most wonderful natural areas in Umbria and a must-visit. The Marmore waterfalls are the most important natural waterfalls in Europe, and Rasiglia, and so is the small medieval village called the "Venice of Umbria". Sellano is a mountain village where people still live by the old traditions. Medieval village renowned in Umbria and known as the "railing of Umbria". Montefalco is surrounded by vineyards and cellars as the town is well known internationally for its Sagrantino wine. In the shared garden with lawn and furniture, you can admire the magnificent view of the surrounding forested hills. The evenings can be enjoyed with smoky barbecued meals and wine. Bicycles are available here. San Francesco d'Assisi Airport is 59 km away.

De ontvangst en informatie bij aankomst was prima. De accommodatie was wat ingesloten slechts aan twee van de vier zijden vrijstaand, waarvan de ene een enkel raam had en de andere een deur buiten de deur was eigenlijk meteen de weg (ook al reed hier niets). De omgeving was mooi, maar ik vond het wel erg afgelegen. De door mij veroorzaakte schade (een wijnvlek) heb ik vóór mijn vertrek netjes gemeld bij de persoon aan wie ik de sleutels afgaf. Hij zei dat het geen probleem was, maar een halve dag later ontving ik van de eigenaren een sms-bericht met een verzoek om vergoeding van de veroorzaakte schade. En die vergoeding vond ik aan de hoge kant. (Het kwam erop neer dat ik mijn borg kwijt was.)

Omgeving en uitzicht is geweldig. Wel is het echt de middle of nowhere. Wil je iets doen/bekijken dan zit je zeker 45 min tot 1,5 uur in de auto enkele reis. Het studiootje vonden wij erg leuk en voldeed prima.
