The shared garden is amazing! So ma y trees and you feel like you are in a small forest as it is close to a waterfall and you can hear nature
Location is a bit far from centre (night market area). But if you can ride a scooter, it is an easy 5minute drive.

Nice quiet, well equiped bungalows with very friend host.
Sizable room with everything we needed, cute cat and dogs, very friendly host. Busy area of Khao Lak is walkable (but for the money just take a taxi), but the place itself is very quiet and relaxed.
Beds are pretty hard (but that's often in this region), the bedspreads were a bit weird (they were like big towels, or we missed something, we couldn't find others?)

The resort is beautiful and quiet. The owners were kind and pleasant. I stayed in a room that was part of a duplex, and I never heard a sound from the guests in the room next to me.
I didn't look at the details for the resort when I booked it, so my primary disappointment was the lack of toiletries (soap and shampoo).

Supergrote kamer. Zalig bed. Vriendelijk personeel. Makkelijk en goedkoop brommer kunnen huren. Vlakbij prachtige natuurpark en watervallen.
Je hebt een brommer nodig om ergens geraken. Gelukkig rijd ik (graag) met de brommer.
Ik vond het resto wel wat rumoerig, dit kon ik horen tot in de kamer.

Ich bewerte i.d.R. nur sehr gute oder sehr schlechte Unterkünft.
Aathid Garden war sehr gut und Dorn und Kai sind sehr gute Gastgeber.
Von der Hauptstraße fährt man in eine Nebenstraße und dann in eine Sackgasse. Dort befindet sich die Anlage.
Mit dem Motorroller ca. 3 Minuten entfernt. An der Hauptstraße befinden sich Geschäfte und Restaurants. Von der Hauptstraße nochmals 5 bis zum ersten Strand.
Bei Kai habe ich einen Roller bestellt zum fairen Preis. Übergabe und Abgabe an der Anlage >> Perfekt.
Roller zu fahren (mit erwachsener Tochter hinten drauf) war entspannt. Die Tais halten mit ihren Autos den dreifachen Abstand wie die Autofahrer in Deutschland.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, grün und mit tollen Pflanzen bestückt. Die Häuser haben einen guten Abstand zu einander und die Privatsphäre ist gesichert.
Die Häuser sind ordentlich gebaut und die Ausstattung ausreichend und gemütlich. Abends geben die einheimischen Vögel usw. ihre Laute ab und morgens kann man gut auf der Terrasse Kaffeetrinken.
Bad und Wasser funktionieren einwandfrei. Kein Schimmel und keine ungebetenen Gäste (wie bei den meisten Unterkünften in den Bewertungen zu lesen ist).
Wir hatten für vier Tage gebucht und am Abend des ersten Tages für weitere acht Tage verlängert. Erkundungen haben wir dann mit dem Roller unternommen.
Dorn und Kai machen einen guten Job. Anfragen nach Änderungen, wir brauchten neben dem Doppelbett noch ein Einzelbett, wurden ganz ohne Aufwand erledigt. Für Tipps und Hilfe sind die Beiden immer ansprechbar gewesen.
In dem eigenen Restaurant/Taverne gab es warme Speisen und Getränke. Über Sonderwünsche konnte man reden. Weihnachten gab es gegen geringe Kostenbeteiligung einen Grillabend mit Gästen und Freunden der Anlage. Alle sehr entspannt und ansonsten ab ca. 22:00 Uhr war ruhe.
Das ist das wesentliche. Für uns war das Beste in unserem Tailandurlaub die hier beschriebene Unterkunft.
So jetzt reicht es mit dem Lob.
Die Dauerschleife des Tapes im Restaurant war ermüdend. Auch wenn einige gute Titel von „The Cure“ darauf waren ;-)
