Apartments Dragica

The accommodation was scrupulously clean and the linen was clean and ironed. The kitchen had plenty of pans, cutlery, crockery etc and a working hob, oven, fridge, freezer and sink - a novelty in my experience of kitchens in accommodation. The location is great and there was a lovely terrace which had areas of shade at different times throughout the day. It was good value for what we paid. The owner, the who lives in the apartment above, was very pleasant and helpful (despite a language barrier)....but

....the agent managing the apartment was difficult /unhelpful throughout. I the listing said the price included all charges and taxes....then unexpectedly the agent took more than that price and said this was for local taxes (I've no objection to paying these, but but it should have been made clear BEFORE I made the booking). As usual, I booking.com were useless /disinterested! Then when we later got the booking-in info we realised that the key had to be collected from an agency not the accommodation. I the agents was a 35 minute bus ride away, or 1h26minute walk (each way). Tried to communicate with the agent to make an arrangement and use public transport but they were dismissive. We ended up having to hire a car, which we hadn't intended, as we couldn't work out any other way to get to the agent and then the apartment. Then, we after going to the agent's, and it turned out the key was actually at the apartment anyway! The apartment is dated but clean and comfortable
