Excellent layout for 2 families. Large room with 4beds (children stayed there - upstairs bedroom) and 2 separate bedrooms ( 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) . All rooms had doors so the children could make noice without bothering others. Grandparents could sleep downstairs so no need to use the stairs. The upstairs bedroom also had good space even with travel baby cot in the room. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.
2 bathrooms, one on each floor. They where clean and modern. Large kitchen table for everyone to eat at. There was a high chair and potty for little ones which was nice. Enough storage for a large group. We dried the gear in the shower room. Good washer drier. Sauna had lots of room.
Nice location. Only a few min by car. Close to all of the himos activities. A short ride to jämsä koskikara swimming which is a child friendly swimming hall.
There was good parking for 2cars and we were able to preheat the car since there was the electricity outlet outside.
The kitchen was too small for a large group. The stove was too small for 2large pans or pots. We needed an oven to cook for a large group and there was only a microwave. There were too little plates for our group. The dishwasher was constantly running because of that. Our food was stored partially outside since the fridge was tiny. But there was a lot of kitchen gear. We had taken our own kitchen gear with us and we very really positively surprised of the amount of gear in the kitchen. We did not end up using our own gear at all.
The stairs are very steep, so be careful if you have small children.
Sauna needs a washing.
