Villa Bikini on Sorrento Coast

Wir haben uns in der Villa Bikini sehr wohl gefühlt, der Ausblick war fantastisch. Garten und Terrasse waren wunderschön und den Pool haben wir sehr oft genutzt. Ein toller Urlaub, gerne wieder!!!

It's such a nice villa that features a huge terrace with the most amazing seaview. The owner also went above and beyond preparing it and cleaning it for us on very short notice due to our late booking. Definitely I would stay there again.

*** read the negative points also, so not the same happens to you*** The goods were the View and the pool. Sunset view was amazing, second to none. Pool was clean and really nice.

Firstly at the booking stage, the process was complicated and in some ways forceful. credit card was recorded as collateral on the website. This followed by a message on what’s app, immediately demanding €500 deposit through PayPal that will be reimbursed at the end of the stay which it did, or payment of the full amount of the stay immediately . This was very blunt and forceful. I had put that down as maybe English was second language and the property owner didn’t have the full grasp how to communicate politely and efficiently. This whole saga was compared to any other hotel process by the property owner, which is correct to some extent not fully, but because of the no refund policy and him having my card detail, I decided to pay ball with him. So I said it’s fine, keep an open mind and it will be fine. Before arriving I contacted the property owners and asked them regarding the AC, which I was assured it is present and we have a chat regarding the heat ireland(generally colder) that week and assuming it will be a lot hotter in Italy. So AC would be paramount here. On arrival, first thing I wanted to check was the AC as we were all sweating bullets and it was very warm. AC turned on but didn’t cool, I was told by our checking in staff to turn off the fuse at the board, wait ten mins and then turn back on. Did this few times and it didn’t work. Anyways I shouldn’t be doing any of this as a guest in a property which I am paying for. Last guest had the same issue and the checking staff and property owner were both aware of this. So for the duration of 4 nights we couldn’t get a comfortable sleep at all as it was quiet hot at late June. Every morning we had to peel off the cloths and the bed sheets off us after a sweating and not sleeping properly all night. There was no attempts made in a form of providing a fan even by the property owner as a temporary solution to make their guest any comfortable even though I had made them aware of the issue numouros Times .
