The location was excellent, very convenient to enjoy the last part of our holiday in Cavalaire-sur-Mer. The villa looks charming at first sight, and the owner was responsive when we reported the clogged bathtub and breakfast was generous
Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. When I informed the property in advance that we were 4 people (2 adults, 2 children), I was told it was fine since there were two large beds. However, just hours before arrival, we were asked to pay an extra €50 per child, per night. While I understand extra fees, this should have been communicated earlier as soon as I reported the issue with booking.com. The first breakfast included pancakes with mold....
The property looks better in photos than in reality: furniture and facilities were worn and not well-maintained. The layout of the rooms was impractical (you had to cross the bathroom to reach the second room, with no privacy), and the air conditioning only covered one area, making it uncomfortable at night. The rooms also felt overcrowded with furniture, leaving little space for luggage.
