Low value for lots of money.

only the bed, the mattress was confortable indeed

Cleanliness, very old and poor quality furnitures ."Low value for money. The accommodation is very worn out, as if the owner never spends on proper renovation, thinking people will rent it anyway no matter what. The front door was stuck, very hard to open and close. The so-called kitchen is not really a kitchen. Equipment: one small electric cooker + oven combo (dirty and greasy inside and outside), one small fridge (about 100 liters, very old, partly rusty, plastic parts yellowed). Etc. etc. etc. If you like adventure, come here. If you want a decent place to stay for 9 nights and have at least 400 pounds, keep looking."

The owner is very helpful and did everything to make my stay comfortable. The apartment has a very good location, it is equipped with all necessary things. Hot water is hot, not just lukewarm (previous experience with other places) :-) I highly recommend it.

cleaning sporadic when done ok but some times it was four and five days before it was done. no toilet roll when we arrived had to purchase our own

It is enough for an holiday at the seaside: the room is needed just to sleep.

Cheap considering the period of the year. Good position: near the centre and near the sea. Very useful internal parking.

Really minimal. There was not water in the bathroom sink for the whole duration of the stay. Jus 3 plugs not easily reachable. Very low Wi-Fi signal. Old (and sometimes broken) furniture and furnishings. Stains on the mattress. Our towels have been never changed in the whole week. Shower closed by curtains make the bathroom wet every time.

Basic option for a good price

1) Good location: 5 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes from the main road of Acharavi with all the restaurants and shops, 3 minutes from bus stop 2) Quite and peaceful: there are not many guests staying at the property so even at the ground floor we were not disturbed. 3) Very nice garden 4) Good price vs. other places 5) good air conditioner and the wifi was working quite well 6) mosquito net in the bathroom

1) check-in is possible after 16h (which is mentioned in the hotel policy) - just something to keep in mind 2) quite basic set-up of the room which is normal for the price 3) hot water in the shower takes some time to arrive (but not critical) 4) would be nice to have a bit more dishes / bowls

location is good for me, right in the middle of Acharavi and only 2 minutes from the beach. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. This place is perfect if you are just looking for a basic place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay!

Socrates Apartments are an amazing spot! The apartments have everything you need, and pretty unusual, whenever something needs to be repaired or done, you don't even have to say it, you will come home and it will be fixed. All rooms have a nice little balcony, the bed was really really comfy, the room is cleaned every 3 days, and Maria is just the best! Very friendly and patient. The location is very close to the beach and very close to everything else. Hard to beat at this price, would return anytime again!

The only thing you should think of is to bring your ear plugs, since the street is close and you might hear cars at night.

Ideal place

It is so easy to communicate with the owner t Booking. She also very clearly explained us how to reach the place. There was a mosquito repnellent plug in the room (!!!), which is such a little thing but apartments very rarely offer it. The place is a nice building with some apartmenst, with all the necessary accessories. The location of the apartment is just perfect, very close to the beach and all the shops, bus stops, restaurants, etc. The price was also affordable. If we ever visit Corfu again, probably we are going too book a room here again.

The internet connection was too week in our first room, but the owner let us move in another room where it worked better.

Very good

Excellent position for family vacation. Beach is like 600~700m away down the road. All necessary shops and taverns are 200~300m walking distance (supermarket, pharmacy, souvenir shops...). Regular room cleaning 2 times/week. All Covid-19 measures are 100% applied (masks, gloves...)

Internet can be better, kids were complaining they can't watch films in the evening.

Exceptional

In brief everything was super good in the property. Property in the centre of Acharavi but in quiet area. Close to: restaurants and stores (1-3 min), Green Bus station to travel to Korfu Town or Kassiopi or Sidari (2 min), the beach (5 min). Private parking, studios in the garden with fruit trees (lemon, lime, kumquat, grapefruit, avocado, olive etc), good AC, comfortable bed. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every two days. The owner Maria is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful.

If I can have any objections, sometimes wifi signal was much better on the balcony than inside the room and no electric sockets near the bed.

Ιδανικός προορισμός για ολο το χρόνο

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία δίπλα στη θάλασσα αλλά και σε ταβέρνες, καφετέριες και διάφορα καταστήματα. Το δωμάτιο ανταποκρινόταν πλήρως στις φωτογραφίες, διέθετε όλα τα απαραίτητα για τη διαμονή μας και ήταν τακτοποιημένο και καθαρό. Το οίκημα διέθετε εκτός από θέα και ένα μεγάλο μπαλκόνι που βλέπει σε έναν περιποιημένο κήπο που απολαμβάναμε το πρωί πίνοντας το καφεδάκι μας. Επίσης υπάρχει άπλετος χώρος για parking κάτι που μας βόλεψε φοβερά. Παρά την κεντρική τοποθεσία, ήταν εξαιρετικά ήσυχο μέρος και δεν υπήρχε καμία ενόχληση ή φασαρία τη νύχτα. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλικοί και πρόθυμοι να μας βοηθήσουν με το οτιδήποτε.Value for money!

Πολύ εύκολη πρόσβαση στο κατάλυμα. Δίπλα σε εστιατόρια,φαρμακεία,καφετέριες,μαγαζιά και γενικώς καταστήματα, ιδανικό για εμάς που είχαμε λίγες μέρες στη διάθεσή μας. Πολύ εύκολη η πρόσβαση σε ωραία θάλασσα. Μεγάλο και εύκολο πάρκινγκ. Πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα τα απαραίτητα. Πεντακάθαρο,ασφαλές και ήσυχο. Προσιτοί, ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι οικοδεσπότες που μας έκαναν να αισθανθούμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Το σκυλάκι μας ευχαριστήθηκε παιχνίδι στον καταπράσινο κήπο με τα ψηλά δέντρα που κρατούν το χώρο δροσερό ακόμη και το καταμεσήμερο.

Sconsigliatissimo. Non prenotate assolutamente in questa struttura!

Solo la posizione rispetto alla spiaggia e al paese.

La cucina non è attrezzata (solo 1 pentola grande e 1 pentolino, solo 2 forchette e 2 cucchiaini e nemmeno una tovaglia!), l'unico tavolo si trova sul balcone ed è inutilizzabile in caso di pioggia. L'appartamento non viene mai pulito e non è nemmeno dotato di uno straccio per asciugare il bagno dopo che si è fatta la doccia, la host è molto maleducata con tutti i clienti (possiede svariati app.ti nella struttura) e non si è nemmeno preoccupata di registrare i documenti. In sintesi, si tratta di una minuscola stanza con 1 lavello e 2 piastre per "cucinare".

Hervorragendes Quartier für Alleinreisende oder Paare, auch ohne Auto alles nah.

Gute zentrale Lage in Acharavi, ca. 7 min. zu Fuss zum Strand, in einem großen Garten, wo man das Auto parken kann. Nette Einrichtung, Küche und Bad griechischer Standard (nur wer noch nie in Griechenland war beschwert sich darüber, dass das Duschen alles unter Wasser setzt und Küchen spartanisch ausgestattet sind). Ich erhielt auf Rückfrage sogar einen Toaster und ein zusätzliches Leintuch. Ausgezeichnete Klimaanlage, netter Balkon, und ein breiter Zugang auf der Rückseite, wo man Morgen sitzen könnte wenn es vorne zu heiß wurde. Handtücher regelmäßig gewechselt, Wohnung gereinigt, Mistkübel geleert. Was will man mehr um das Geld. Im Garten gibt es auch Sitzgelegenheiten, sowie Kumquats, Zitronen und Feigen zu Verkosten.

Dass die Reinigung nicht an fixen Tagen und zu fixen Zeiten erfolgte, war mühsam. Erst hieß es Samstag und Dienstag, dann kam sie erst Mittwoch wieder, dann Sonntag, zuletzt Donnerstag....

La struttura è in un ottima posizione, a due passi dal centro e dal mare. Ha un piccolo parcheggio. Le camere dispongono di balcone con tavolo e due sedie. Dotata di aria condizionata. Fanno le pulizie due volte a settimana

Non ci sono prese di corrente in bagno e in camera due sono occupate da frigo/bollitore/TV/piano cottura, x cui me rimane solo una. Dispone di un solo comodino e di un piccolissimo armadio, stanza cmq piccola. Pochissimo spazio nel caso si voglia utilizzare l angolo cottura Il frigorifero senza ripiani. Bagno che si allarga dopo ogni doccia

No hay limpieza

La ubicación. En pueblo es muy cómodo y hay de todo.

Llegamos a las 5 de la tarde, avisamos al alojamiento con antelación de la hora de llegada, ya que además, nos preguntaron por la hora de llegada. A esa hora nos encontramos la habitación sin limpiar de los anteriores huéspedes. Llamamos al alojamiento y llegaron a limpiarlo en unos minutos. Tardaron cosa de 10-15 minutos en “limpiarlo”, que lo unico que hicieron fue cambiar las sabanas y las toallas. El alojamiento, lo siento muchísimo, pero no estaba limpio y daba bastante asco estar ahi. Tan poco limpiaron que dentro del alojamiento encontramos todo tipo de insectos y bichos, desde mosquitos, arañas, telas de araña hasta politas y dos chinches. Todos vivos. Entendemos el sitio donde estábamos alojados, donde es normal que haya este tipo de bichos, pero dentro del alojamiento es por falta de limpieza y de no tener cuidado y las medidas necesarias. La limpieza la hicimos nosotros, comprando insecticidas, velas de citronela y un enchufe para la pared. Es además un peligro, porque a nosotros nos picaron dentro del alojamiento y nos hizo reacción la picadura. No sabemos de qué era, pero menos mal que teníamos pastillas para las alergias. Luego, no había ni un solo cepillo de barrer ni un solo trapo. En el armario, seguían habiendo bichos. En fin, una vergüenza quedarnos en este alojamiento, la primera noche casi nos vamos al coche a dormir

La mancanza di servizi essenziali (come una scopa, un panno per asciugare i piatti, uno strofinaccio, sacchetti dell'immondizia..) Inoltre il doccino non si poteva apprendere, ma bisognava tenerlo in mano per lavarsi. Avrei aggiunto almeno un'altra presa della corrente e una bajour vicino al letto.

Комуникацията със собственика не беше никак добра! Много трудно намерихме студиото, инструкциите, които бяха описани не бяха от полза. Ако си местен ще се справиш, но за чужденец-определено беше изнервящо. Ориентир ресторант-без да се упомене от ляво или от дясно, втори ориентир-рента кар- там са поне 3 пак нито от ляво нито от дясно, трети ориентир- някава помпа, не казва, че е в кръговото не каза, да търсим SOKRATES.което го има на картата на гугъл, на един лист А4 е закачен под табелата Сократес, за всички, които решат да посетят мястото ще оставя координати, за да не си развалят почивката от първия ден - 39,79259`С, 19,81636`И . Ако сте за повече от 3 дни трудно ще си разопаковате багажа-има само еднокрилно гардеробче !
