Perfect location on the estuary/river. Stunning views with lovely French style doors that opened up. Despite being above the pub/restaurant, there was no noise issue. The bustle of people nearby just added to the relaxing feeling. Lovely breakfast and perfectly situated in the middle of the town.
Nothing!

My third visit to the Galleon, this time staying in the Avocet room. Very comfortable with a lovely view over the estuary. Staff were polite and friendly, despite having to contend with a long power cut impacting many town centre businesses until late on the Saturday night. Breakfast was delicious and served by attentive staff. See you next year!

Breakfast, room, view, location. Have stayed there before.
Real ale choice in the bar was a bit limited, just about every bar in Fowey sold St Austell beer which none of our party of seven like so we tried the Jail Ale but we would have stopped in the bar more if there had been a better real ale available such as Butcombe Original or Wadworth 6X, or Fullers London Pride etc as no where that we went in Fowey was serving a well known decent real ale.
