Peaceful

Beautiful place, quiet, nice pool. 10-minute ride from downtown, and main plaza. Friendly staff, nice bed. Hot water. I'd describe it as peaceful. I stayed there as I went to a weeding 5 minutes from the location.

It's nothing about the property but since it was raining the road to reach it was flooded.

location was good and units were pretty clean

even that we booked using booking, they contacted us to send a transfer, but which is very unusual . then at the check out, they asked us to wait until “they review the room”. very rude and unprofessional. never seen this before

It was a good, but not great stay -- some small improvements would have made a huge impact.

A beautiful little boutique hotel with very well tended grounds. The room was comfortable and spotless. It was a quiet location but not too far from the town. We drove a couple of times, but also took Uber and taxis at night.

There was only ONE had towel provided for two guests and one bath towel each which had to be used also at the pool. The pool was very clean but cold. Even the jacuzzi was COLD. What's the point of a COLD jacuzzi??? Breakfast at the hotel was overpriced and not very good -- too salty to enjoy. And there was ONE complimentary bottle of water for two guests for a two night stay. After that you had to buy it at a cost of $25 per liter, which was a rip-off. Better to charge a bit more and just provide more complimentary items for the guests.

Second visit to Las Hortensias

Beautiful gardens are very well maintained with peacocks and even rabbits roaming around the property.

This was our second visit to Las Hortensias. The first time was enjoyable, but the service in the restaurant was bad, so the management kindly offered us a small discount on our next visit. We decided to make use of it this time, but when we tried to claim the discount, the staff member said he would find out and let us know, which never happened. We brought up the issue again at checkout and were told that we could only claim the discount while reserving. Which of course is not an option on Booking.com. Unfortunately this wasn’t the only issue this time. Restaurant service was still slow and bad, and the Junior suite felt large but very dated with a green tiled bathroom from the 1980s, broken AC, no fan and plenty of mosquitoes. Also staff started blasting music for the outdoor restaurant at 9am, dashing all hopes of sleeping in. Would no longer recommend Las Hortensias to a friend.

Agradable y cómodo.

La suite limpia y con lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, el personal amable, el desayuno es basto y rico. Los jardines bien cuidados y los pavoreales un plus muy cute.

Fue bueno, el único problema fue que nuestra suite estaba del lado de la pared hacia la calle y toda la noche se escuchan ruidos muy fuertes por los coches. Fuera de eso fue agradable.

El lugar es muy bonito, limpio y seguro. Tienen pavor reales y no permiten fumar afortunadamente. Un pocito al centro, todo limpio y bien cuidado

Una escapada campestre.

La habitación muy limpia el baño también, muy bonito sobre todo la ropa de cama, excelente con edredones nórdicos para el frío. Desayuno incluido muy delicioso y la atención del personal de cocina y recepción calida y servicial. . Un poco lejos del centro de Tepotzotlán pero eso también puede ser un acierto.

la ubicación y lo bello de la finca

Nos tocó un cuarto retirado y para poder bajar nuestras pertenencias acercamos nuestro auto a la habitación, con autorización del portero, pero la recepcionista fue a "regañarnos" que porque no podíamos utilizar la vía de acceso que usamos sin saber que así se nos había indicado. Al día siguiente ya había clausurado el paso y fue muy problemático acceder a nuestra habitación ya que estaba lloviendo, todo estaba mojado, enlodado y llevábamos 2 niños pequeños.

Bonito lugar. Amplio y cómodo. Si el personal ofreciera un servicio mas profesional sería excelente.

Por encima de todo, el servicio. Depende mucho de la persona, algunos empleados son serviciales y eficientes. Otros ofrecen un trato muy déspota, como el de la Sra. Diana Martinez. Durante nuestra estancia (7 días, 4 habitaciones), recibimos un trato muy distinto dependiendo del personal. Por ejemplo, un empleado se negó a jugar las mesas para que comiéramos juntos en la parte de adentro, alegando que las mesas solo se podían juntar en la terraza (en un día super frío). El desayuno incluido es horrible y cada vez que comimos algo frito del restaurante nos enfermamos del estómago.

Muy bonito y agradable

Los animales le dan un toque especial. El personal es atento. Las áreas verdes son lo suficientemente grandes como para pasear. Hay una piscina. El desayuno está rico. La habitación es del justo tamaño. Pasamos muy buenos momentos allí.

Los alrededores del hotel se llevan la palma de las peores carreteras de México (topibaches, baches y baches sin cesar desde la salida de la autopista) En la noche se oye cada cuanto el paso de camiones. A nosotros en lo personal nos gusta más luz cálida que blanca en los hoteles.

Tranquilo y estricto

Un buen lugar para relajarse, además de que lugar cuenta con un buen jardín y alberca, es recomendable despejarse un rato.

Que no te dejan hacer uso de ninguna instalación del jardín (bancas, mesas, ni estar en el jardín) una vez alojado después de las 9:00 pm solo debes estar en tu cuarto. Además de la atención del chico de recepción de la noche, súper ineficiente! Siendo los únicos huéspedes la atención del chico era nula. Les faltan poner bancas o adaptaciones en el área de fumar y fogata, ya que solo hay troncos y con la lluvia no hay ni donde sentarse o estar. No había nada en restaurante, el desayuno cero recomendable.

El lugar es muy lindo, muy amplio, la recamara limpia, el desayuno estuvo sencillo pero rico,estaba templada el agua d la alberca 😊 muy bonito para estar en contacto con la naturaleza.

El cuarto le hizo falta ventilación, la regadera salpico para todos lados 😬, la alberca es pequeña para el lugar tan amplio, a las 6 cierran el restaurante y la alberca 😔. Tuvimos que salir a buscar algo para cenar
