Posada Camino de Altamira

All service staff I met was friendly and always helpful. For example at breakfast I had special wishes and those were fulfilled with out any question. For dinner they offer beside individuell local foods a menu with usually starter, main, dessert and for each course you can choose between 3-4 options. The price incl. water or a bottle of wine (per person) lays between 18-24EUR. The served food was always of very good quality and taking all 3-courses in account enough in quantity. The room (#103 ground floor) was in good conditions and is ok for 2-persons without a child. As in my case the room was mainly used for sleeping.

The breakfast is typical Spanish with many sweet foods. Jam & Co is packed in small plastic containers. Fresh sliced was only cooked ham and cheese available, but when I asked for some slices Serano ham, I received those.- At the dinner even the olive oil, vinegar and salt was packed in little (plastic) portions. I would prefer as in many restaurants, that these ingredients are served in bottles. As there was no bowl for waste, the empty plastic containers where collected on the table ... for the middle size mixed salat (very good and tasty) I needed 5x olive oil plastic containers. A further suggestion is, to delivery with the baguette a plate and olive oil and salt. The baguette is served as soon as you are placed at the table (very good). Room #103 is lighten by a spotlight that lightens the outer side of the hotel and you do not need any light in the room as this spotlight is quite light. When they close the restaurant - typically around 23:00 - the spotlight is switched off.

Bonita decoracion, limpieza, agradable personal,muy buen servicio de restauración, ascensor, aparcamientos.

Todo nos gustó.

Muy mal insonorizadas las habitaciones. Todo el hotel tiene olor a plancha y a guidos ya que tiene un restaurante integrado en el hotrl. No son especialmente atentos.
