Great Stay in Historic Old Mining Town

The Hotel Emily is the best choice in the historic district located on Plaza de la Independcia and a few blocks from Plaza de la Constitusion, the heart of the old town. If you are visiting Pachuca to discover the history of this fine old gold and silver mining town, this is the place to be. Nice reasonably prices on site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and several others nearby.

Our room had a great view of the old clock tower and lively plaza. Windows open for fresh air which is a plus. Although clean, the room and bathroom are exceedingly small. The room has adequate blackout curtains but there are several appliances with standby lights that may require a light sleeper to wear a sleep mask. There is a dangerous ledge entering the bathroom and the rug-tile separator is high. Wear flip flops!

Nice clean hotel, great location.

Buffet breakfast was not included had to pay an extra fifty pesos per person, but all in all it was fine. Definitely the location was a great easy access to everything.

The hotel was not full I felt we should have been given a better room. We were given one at the end of the hallway in a dark corner. The room had no view but to a construction site. The bed was a bit hard for my liking. Other then that it was a good value.

Great place place to stay, very Mexican, great value for quality, and we keep going back there.

We have stayed at Hotel Emily 3 or 4 times now and love it. Its a great location and the people are very friendly and helpful.

The only negative I can think of is the piano player is a bit loud in the restaurant, and then don't always have a full section of wine, but what they do have is good.

Best Pachuca location

Customer service and location easily compensate for minor issues encountered, such as a broken room safe that was quickly replaced. The tour desk offered great day trips cheaper than nearby travel agencies. We highly recommend the Emily.

Orange juice or bananas were not available on included breakfast. The was no toaster for sandwich bread.

Staying at Hotel Emily is like finding gold and silver in the mines!

We enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choices, attentive wait staff. The location is excellent. The room is always clean and sanitized which meets the Covid Protocol. The front desk staff was helpful in arranging tours and transportation.

If you have found Pachuca on the map, you want to stay at Hotel Emily.

The location, free parking under the hotel and the staff are all excellent. Its got that perfect blend of old world feeling and new world features like good wifi. This is the second time I have stayed there and will certainly stay again. Pachuca and Hotel Emily don't get a lot of foreign tourists compared to other parts of Mexico, so knowing a little bit of Spanish goes a long way. But the benefits of not having other foreign tourists around you and having local prices on everything and genuinely friendly people that want to help you, lets you know your have traveled somewhere.

The only negatives we could find was the bright lights from the outside restaurant tent shine into the restaurant, and there wasn't a large selection of red wine, but the ones they had were great, and excellent value.

Location is great and the fact the hotel has its own parking lot is great too. Good number of business around the hotel.

There was kind of a festival in the plaza outside the hotel and the music was very loud. Fortunatelly it ended up around 10:30pm. I do not recommend this hotel for people that finds difficult to sleep since the clock that is in the middle of the plaza outside the hotel sounds every hour.

El mejor hotel ubicado en el Centro de la ciudad, por un poco mas con vista al reloj emblemático de esta ciudad, el bell boy super atento junto con la recepcionista en turno fueron muy buenos guías de turista. las camas y almohadas a si como todas las cobijas no pasamos fríos!

Lo único malo fuera de lo hermoso del hotel el Reloj emblemático sonaba cada 15 o media hora durante toda la noche.
