    We stayed at the wonderful Old Quay House during the literary festival and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff, fantastic food, and those views across the estuary are just magical. Everything felt calm, thoughtful and quietly luxurious without ever being stuffy. It was the perfect base for a few days of books, conversation, sea air and good company. A really special place that we were genuinely sorry to leave.

    Nice rooms clean and tidy ideal for us great breakfast they do evening meals and the food is good we have stayed and eaten there before location is perfect dog friendly but there are stairs to climb no lift staff very good.

    I had a wonderful time. The staff and food were amazing. The staff went above and beyond. The only 2 niggles I had was there was no full length mirror in the bedroom and the parking is quite a walk. If you are a couple you could drop off at the hotel door so it would be fine. If you are alone and have any mobility issues then it’s a bit difficult. Other than that the views are second to none and this hotel is located right in the centre. The shops, bars, restaurants are either next door or a very short walk away. All in all I had an amazing stay! Thankyou to all the staff and in particular the kind, polite and accommodating managerXx
