Casa de la Catedral

Location is fantastic, right by the Cathedral. Our broken coffee maker was replaced quickly by friendly cleaner. Bed was comfortable.

Really feel the bathroom needs a refurbishment. The shower especially has unpleasant dirty grouting which needs sorting. The fridge, as others have said, is far too small. There were no small plates or a sharp knife to cook with or to cut bread.

A very comfortable and well-equipped apartment. In a fabulous location to explore Granada on foot. What a magnificent view of the cathedral! I thought it would be too noisy but I slept well with the shutters closed at night (didn’t use my earplugs though if you are a light sleeper they could be handy). I felt safe as a solo female traveller and it was an easy bus ride from the train station.

Location, location, location view of cathedral interesting street sounds- music etc. but no noise when you close the doors to balcony. No need for car or public transport, we walked everywhere...Albaicín, Sacromonte etc. URBAN Bus was nearby for going to bus station and Alhambra. Staff ....on whatsapp virtual and real were instantly very helpful. Huge choice in restaurants nearby, Supermarkets closeby..all walking distance. Definitely would go back there.

Fridge too small. Couldn't find english news channel on TV. Only minor issues but bigger fridge important for water bottles, wine etc in high temperatures!

The location was the best part - very central, great view, and treated to live music in the plaza below. The room was also relatively spacious for what you'd expect.

1. The first problem was locating the door to the building - the map location they sent was not accurate and showed the apartment around the corner from the entrance. Also, although they had sent a photo of the door with instructions to access the building with a code and the key from a lockbox, the photo was out of date and the big, pink sticker that displayed to the left of the door in the image, was NOT there when I arrived, making it challenging to find. Street names were also not always clearly marked, so the address was hard to find. 2. LUGGAGE STORAGE NOT INCLUDED! Despite the listing on Booking.com saying that luggage storage is an included amenity, there is NO luggage storage on site. (There is no concierge or front desk). Instead, they send you a notification with checkout instructions and a location where you can PAY to store your suitcases. They (Wekey, who manages the place) offer you a "10% discount" as a guest of Wekey at WeLocker. They also own this WeLocker storage, making the whole "includes luggage storage" a bit of a scam. They also tell you it is only a "two-minute" walk from your accommodation - it is not. Google Maps will tell you it is 4 minutes, and you're pulling luggage. I had explicitly booked this place as I was under the impression it had luggage storage. 3. As other guests have noted, there was a bad smell from the bathroom. Not unusual in Europe with old water pipes, but nonetheless unpleasant. I had to keep the bathroom door closed to limit the smell in the rest of the space. 4. Though they had a (bad) coffee machine in the room, it did not have regular coffee, only café con leche pods.
