Excellent location. Meal in restaurant was outstanding as was the welcome and service.
Some confusion over where to check-in/ have breakfast etc as it is a huge site and signage wasn’t great.

Lovely quiet location in a cool miles of buildings including chateau (another hotel), separate restaurant, other outbuildings, formal gardens and tennis court!!! Room had air conditioning, fridge and mini bar. Hardly anyone staying in this hotel so the chateau was location for breakfast.

The restaurant - food and staff all totally outstanding. Lovely grounds.
Reception. Awful start to our stay. Entrance led through to a desk that said 'go to the chateau', but with no indication of where this was. Then there was no sign saying 'reception' here either. Not very welcoming when we did find reception. Had to pay for the room upfront, then in addition had to pay an extortionate 250Euro 'caution'!

Over charged by €21 and requested refund to 2 members of Reception team who said they would request their manager to refund and still not received!!
