Great overnighter or for a longer stay.

I stayed here last year and really like this hotel. The restaurant was open this time this January and the meal was excellent. Glad to see the disposable cups in the room have been replaced with reusable ones. Good car park CHF 18 per day with EV charge points. Very comfortable hotel and would like to visit again in Summer.

I spent just one night at the Delfino, during a business trip to Lugano. A 5 minute bus ride away from Lugano train station, I was received extremely cordially at the front desk. The room with a view on Lake Lugano was very clean, functional, everything work and the sockets for my various chargers were also easily accessible (still an issue in many hotels). Very good mattress! Check-out again was very cordial and efficient. I'll be back.

It was good

Everyone was warm, gentle and welcoming. Dinner was good and the room offered a nice view of the lake and mountains from a cute balcony. The location was also good, a few bus stops from Lugano center, close to Lugano Paradiso station. A Migros and denner are also nearby Kudos to the efficiency of the cleaning personnel. They were waiting on the stairs in the morning for someone to leave the room and start to clean right away. I am totally for it, I would just advise to not group altogether outside the rooms since the constant look can be a little intimidating for guests just leaving their room.

The hotel in general has a huge potential but it would need some big renovation. It looks a bit old and dark. By having a swimming pool and the lake view it could really shine and improve a lot. This would make it totally worth the money spent.

Never stay at this Hotel! Allergy sufferers are dangerous here!

This is the worst hotel! It hasn't been renovated since the 16th century! I'm shocked that such ugliness still exists.

This hotel is a total disaster! Allergy sufferers are dangerous here! Terrible smell right at the entrance, the staff does not know what hospitality is, the room is a nightmare, everything is old and terrible, breakfast is bread, yogurt and an apple,- that’s all. This hotel is worse than a hostel or motel. Its real price is no more than 30-40 euros!

a gem in Lugano

This hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and obliging. there is very much a family feel to Hotel Delfino. They also have great facilities for cyclists and mountain bikers with dedicated storage, cleaning and maintenance areas. we also got two complementary bottles of water each day which was greatly appreciated

the rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom and our room smelled of smoke. it was a no smoking room but there was an ask tray on the balcony which probably explained the smell.
