Room at 1st floor was OK. The hotel has a place to store your bikes securely. The hotel is located at the harbour of Stavoren, so also close to the statue of 'Vrouwtje van Stavoren' and the fountain of Stavoren that is part of the 11fountains. Next to this fountain, there is a good fish stall.
No elevator to the 1st floor, only steep stairs. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, so you have to go for diner somewhere else, but that's not really a problem, because there are other nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Breakfast great. Loved the Jacuzzi.
Well, it was raining and we had a little leak, but, when I reported it the next morning, staff jumped right to it. Our room was in one of the casks, reused for this very nice hotel in a very nice seaside town.

We were in a wine vat. It was very nice but the people either side of us smoked outside constantly and we could smell the smoke. We didn't want to sit outside. I think there should be a smoking side and a non smoking side.
