Apartman Šimun

Location right by the beach, on the main street. beautiful view. There were many things left for cooking, like spices and oil. Friendly host. Lots of space, clean, nice apartment.

This place would be perfect, if there were washing machine, but that's our fault for not seeing it before booking.

Location is fantastic, all the beaches are nearby, old town is a couple of minutes walk, market is 1-2 minutes walk. Parking is good and it's very close to the car from the apartament. We left a stroller in the car as it was easier to take it from the trunk every time than carrying it up the stairs (flat is on the first floor and doors and corridor are narrow). There is a see-view from the balcony, a bit blocked by the building of the old hostel but still nice. Host is very friendly and helpful, wandering around from time to time. There is a lot of kitchenware, we travel with our own but it's nice to have. Wifi in the apartment is solid, remote work friendly, download 70, upload 30.

Lock in the bathroom does not really work, even when it's locked you need to push harder and it opens. Door from one of the bedrooms are stuck and it's hard to close and open it. Some wall sockets need fixing as they are loose. I believe all od those issues above are mendable so they may not apply in the future. Rooms are rather dark, especially noticeable in the bathroom and the kitchen. Apartment is not soundproof at all, pray for quiet neighbours. Our ones forced us to listen Eurovision finale with them. One of the bed was squeakier than Primosten's seagulls.

Great apartment with excellent location. Really close to the beach, but far enough from the centre noise. Nearby bakery, supermarket, post office (if you like sending postcards). Roomy, spacious, with everything we needed and parking on premises was also a huge advantage. And despite the lack of a washing machine, we were offered another set of towels. It was really great.
