The apartment is in an excellent central location in Amalfi, with many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops just a short walk away. It is also only a couple of minutes from the main beach, which was perfect for an early morning swim and made it easy to enjoy everything Amalfi has to offer.
The apartment is in average condition and would benefit from significant maintenance and upkeep. The shower had very low water pressure and the drain was completely blocked, which made it difficult to use. There were also large patches of mould on both the living room and bedroom ceilings, and several walls showed signs of rising damp with extensive bubbling and peeling paint. The bed was not particularly comfortable. Guests should also be aware that access to the apartment involves a long flight of stairs, which can be challenging when arriving with luggage.
