Located in the best enclave of the Subbética cordobesa, two kilometers from Carcabuey and facing the castle is the Macegal Mill, surrounded by a spring that cuts the valley and passes through the old flour and oil mill, exploited from the century XVI.
The old mill is in the process of being restored due to its deterioration. The house, in the purest Andalusian style and with all the comforts demanded by a demanding and up-to-date tourism, together with the mill are located on a 60,000-square-meter estate dedicated to the ecological exploitation of olive oil.

La casa dispone de todo lo necesario, pero sin duda lo mejor es poder disfrutar del exterior de la casa con la enorme piscina, el porche y el campo. Repetiría sin duda.

Pasamos unos días estupendos en esta maravillosa casa. El encargado de darnos las llaves (Marcos) nos atendió de maravilla y fue muy amable en todo momento. Repetiremos seguro!

Casa situada en el parque natural de las sierras subbéticas. Zona muy tranquila. La casa amplia, con cinco habitaciones dobles y con dos servicios, uno situado en el exterior de la vivienda. Una gran piscina bien cuidada donde los niños disfrutaron. La cocina con microondas, vitrocerámica, cubiertos, cubertería y todo lo necesario para cocinar. Una estancia de diez personas, estuvimos perfectamente.
El trato con el propietario fue correcto, muy amable.

Hemos pasado el pasado puente de diciembre en esta preciosa casa y la experiencia ha sido buenísima y lo recomiendo sin duda.
El trato con los dueños ha sido fenomenal y el entorno tan bonito como tranquilo. Un buen sitio para pasar unos días en cualquier estación del año.
La casa tiene chimenea y el dueño pone a disposición la leña que haga falta.
Un buen punto intermedio para visitar Priego de Córdoba, Rute, Córdoba capital, así como el propio pueblo de Carcabuey que sin duda merece la pena también.
Las gentes del lugar son muy amables y te hacen sentir como uno más de la zona.
Hemos quedado todos muy contentos. Viajamos 6 adultos, 2 niños y una perrita Yorkshire.
