Øyjorden Apartment

The view from the balcony is stunning. Located out of the busiest part of town.The property is easy to get to by bus. FB50 from airport then bus 16E up the hill to Øyjorden. You can purchase the tickets on the bus from the driver. Going into down wait at the bus stop slightly down hill. The 16E runs about every 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment had all the facilities you would like. Washing machine and dryer. We cooked a couple of meals. The hike down to the local store was quite steep but we did it a couple of times. Bed was comfortable. The host was very responsive.

The bathroom, was small and the lighting very dim. There is a switch outside the bathroom that may be broken.

Great balcony. Excellent views. Good facilities.

Nothing much to complain about.

The view was amazing. There was a bus stop almost at the front door. Nice facilities, comfortable and cosy. Close to supermarket.

Quiet. Warm. Nice bed linen. Comfortable sofa. Lovely terrace, although we didn’t get to use it because of the weather.

The property could do with a maintenance check as half the hob didn’t work and several light bulbs were out. There was a strong ‘dirty diaper’ type smell coming from the bathroom at times. The blind in the bedroom was very thin so didn’t block out the light. Also the means to make a cup of tea or coffee after a long journey and before we unpacked would have been nice. I know it’s self catering but a small welcome pack would have been good.
