Good location to explore the city. Good variety for breakfast, but poor for them with food allergies.

It’s a beautiful hotel with amazing people.

For the high price you receive the absolute minimum that should be provided in this price range. This gives a great experience and overall good feeling about your stay (no positive surprises). Upsells are everywhere, minibar is extremely expensive (it could be included in stay price to have feeling that you are receiving something for free in my opinion - alcohol should stay paid extra). Hotel has no parking! It recommends using city parking and offers that you can pay in the hotel but it is more expensive than if you pay in the parking cashier machine.

Comfortable rooms, as expected for class of hotel

Everywhere was noisy - one side had blasting music from a wedding until midnight and the other had a festival in the main square. The staff tried to help but there was miscommunication (first I was moved, then the new room was noisy, then I moved back on the premise the wedding party would end at 10pm then to be told it wouldn’t end until midnight). Having paid a premium to stay here due to the Marriott’s reputation (I was emotionally very unwell due to a personal situation) it just was not good enough.
