Villa Veronica

The location is perfect, close to the supermarket, shops and a little square with nice restaurants. It is also within walking distance of beaches, the harbour and a fab area called Music Square which has restaurants and live bands

It would've been nice to have a toaster. We have previously stayed in villas which provide a little hamper which is always welcome until we get the chance to get to the shop. We had coffee & tea, but no milk.

We love Corralejo, but it has started getting very busy. So we stopped staying in hotels as we need to relax and this property I found last year is perfect for us. Away from the crowds but close to the Campanaria with restaurants and a supermarket.

Can’t think of anything

Spent 14 nights in this villa over Christmas and New Year and we loved it. Directly opposite Campinario and about a 10-15 min walk into town. Despite being on a bit of a main road its private and peaceful (until the little dog nearby wants to say good morning to everyone!). It has a lovely quirky layout across 3 levels, although there was only 2 of us so we didn't use the lower level. Bed was really comfortable, lots of wardrobe space, shower was great and the addition of a washing machine was a great bonus! Outside area is lovely with padded sun loungers and it gets the sun all day. Pool is a great size too although I wasn't brave enough to use it in December.

As I said, the villa is lovely but it does have a couple of the basics missing (especially if it’s being booked for 6 people). The kettle is a small travel kettle and the ironing board is a small table top one - both of these should be replaced with full sized ones. Bizarrely there is no toaster only an old Breville style sandwich maker. Also there was no plug for the kitchen sink so we went up to Fuerchina and bought one as we didn't want to use the dishwasher given that there was only 2 of us and we wouldn't be using a lot of dishes. There is a little Nespresso machine but I’d also add a cafetière too.

Bella villa con piscina privata con tutti i comfort necessari. Supermercati e negozi a fronte strada e spiaggia vicinissima. Zona tranquilla ma comunque a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Corralejo. Staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile.
