Parthenon 2BD Apartment steps from Acropolis

Fantastic location. Convenience store close by. Everything you could possibly need from a home from home.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Athens and would absolutely stay here again! The hosts were incredibly responsive — I usually received a reply in less than five minutes — and they were always kind, helpful, and accommodating. The location is fantastic, just a very short walk to Plaka, the Acropolis, and the Acropolis Museum. There’s also a market downstairs along with several restaurants nearby, which made everything so convenient. Despite being in such a central area, it was very quiet at night. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you could need. The hosts went above and beyond by providing thoughtful extra amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, lotions, and more. There’s even a washer and drying rack for laundry, which was very helpful during our trip. One thing we especially appreciated was the accessibility. The building has two elevators, which made a huge difference for us since my mom uses a walker. It made getting in and out very easy and stress-free. The terrace has a wonderful view, and there’s even a smart TV if you want to connect to your subscriptions — although honestly, the views and the city are so beautiful that we preferred spending our time outside enjoying Athens! Overall, everything was wonderful and we totally recommend staying here.

Just that one of the elevators went out of service during our stay but it was no biggy since there are two of them.

Das Appartement liegt ca. 5 min zu Fuß von der Akropolis und der U-Bahn-Station Akropolis entfernt. Dort gibt es einige Cafes und Bäckereien wo man super frühstücken kann (4 Personen < € 40, ohne zu knausern). An der Ecke beim Appartement ist ein kleiner Supermarkt (Spar) mit dem notwendigsten, mehr als genug für ein Frühstück im Appartement. Daneben ist auch eine Take-away-Pizzeria, die ganz passable Pizzen macht. In 10 min erreicht man um die Akropolis eine Vielzahl an Tavernen, Cafes und Bars. Ein Abstecher in kleine Gassen, weg vom Trubel lohnt sich, die Lokale sind dann nicht so hektisch, authentischer und pittoresker.

Nichts

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns viele hilfreiche Ausflugstipps gegeben. Ausserdem hat es im Appartement eine grosse Auswahl an Reiseführer, Stadtkarten und Bücher. Die Lage ist super, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Sltstadt sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar und direkt neben der Unterkuft ist ein Treffpunkt für Hop-on-Hop-off Busse und geführte Touren nach Delphi, Meteora, dem Poseidontempel und vieles mehr.
