we’ve stayed in far better equipped gîtes in France

Well renovated cottage inside which looks very nice. Great shower, oven and dishwasher all worked well.

Very under-equipped which is such a shame. The WiFi is very weak and very slow. No bed linen, no towels, no filters for the coffee machine, TV remote didn’t work, no welcome pack, not even a single dishwasher tablet or any hand wash in the bathroom. Army blankets in the bedrooms. The pillows were dreadful. And you have to pay extra electric just to use the heaters! No way of leaving windows open in the day to air the house, so it feels very damp all the time. Owners are relying on visitors to do their end of stay clean and so it was not clean enough when we arrived.
