Very Clean, bus stop at the property, amazing view from restaurant ,excellent breakfast , friendly owners.

It is worth to speak German or Italian for English you may need translator.

The views are breathe taking. I'd argue some of the best in town. The value was incredible for how wonderful our stay was. The family that runs the hotel is so very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were right at home. The fact that we also got breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend 👌

Not a whole lot to critique here. The only negative would be the size of the rooms and the pillows are very very flat.

Perfect location for travellers who want a peaceful stay outside of the city, with a magnificent view of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. Be aware, the guesthouse is outside of Ortisei, approximately 2kms away, and 200m elevation uphill. There is a convenient bus service though, and you receive a free bus pass that can be used for whole Südtirol. Actually for me, this calm, peaceful surrounding was a big plus. Typical family run business, the owners are helpful, even though they do not speak good English, but we managed to understand each other every time. The food is homemade and very tasty, and the prices are reasonable. Very much recommended to dine here.

The pillows can be more comfortable, and for the breakfast I would recommend serving vegetables as well. But really, just small things to improve, I liked the stay a lot.

The location of Albergo Somont is stunning! it is a half hour walk into Ortiei or there is a very convenient bus directly outside. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from and we also enjoyed a nice evening meal there too. We would definitely recommend Albergo Somont to anybody traveling in the dolomites.

This place is perfectly located if you want to just walk out your door and start hiking. You can take the bus down into Ortisei but there are plenty of trails right outside the door of this place. Breakfast was good, hosts were kind. Stayed for 8 days and didn't get bored!

The most memorable thing about Albergo Somont is the location. It's around 10mins from the centre of Ortisei. You can access it via bus (they will even give you a 7 days bus pass). The view is amazing. You can see Sassalungo from the balcony, dining area and garden. Around the area are also great views of Dolomites and the Alpe di Siusi cable car. The hotel itself is also great. The room I got is quite big for a single room. Big wardrobe and bathroom. Fresh towels daily, strong water pressure and easy to use hot/cold adjustments. Breakfast is also great with good selection. Coffee is made fresh too! Can't complain about the staff too. They're very friendly and accomodating. I actually extended my stay instead of going back to Milan early as I loved everything about my stay.

The owners are very helpful and kind. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are cleaned everyday. There's nothing to complain about. Loved staying there!

The location and the main people who manage the property who are always at the reception and in the restaurant. Very sweet and helpful.

Lot of noise from their two kids on my last day. It was disturbing and they dint do anything about it. I wanted some peace time whilst reading my novel and I was sitting outside in the garden. The noise even came upto my room. Also one of the lady servers; may be wife of the cook or something, is obnoxiously rude and I almost felt she was being a racist, because I could see she was taking the order just on my next table very promptly and nicely but everytime I talked to her or asked her for anything she either ignored me or spoke to me in a bad tone. That was definitely a let down for me.

Lovely place to enjoy the nature! It’s located upper area near ortisei(I stronly recommend you to drive to be there), so you can enjoy the nice view even in your balcony. Staffs are warm-hearted and willing to help you unless they are not good at English. Food was good and many options you can try during your stay.

They run restaurant so there are noises till 11pm.
