Enjoyable with a few disappointing elements.

The food was lovely, however we came across a few bugs in the room and the bed which was unfortunate. When we reported to reception I was disappointed with the response we received as it was initially disbelief then when offered evidence excuses and a watery apology was offered. This took away from our stay.

As above the bugs and report. The pool was lovely but perhaps a little too warm as was the room.

I absolutely loved the location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The dinner and breakfast were really lovely and the location was great.

The bar and dining area were extremely cold. We would have stayed there longer but we went back to our cabin to warm up. The fires and radiator were warm but unfortunately there were bad draughts

Amazing location, great food, and friendly service.

Getting away, relaxing, felt calm, quiet and relaxing. The food was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Kids really enjoyed getting to use the pool.

We had the sound of water gushing down the wall, it was an issue with the room upstairs, however we made the most of it but it did disrupt sleeping.

Extremely underwhelmed

The island is idyllic, as is county Fermanagh.

The studio lodge we stayed in was extremely tired and looked as if there has been no money spent on the upkeep in quite a while , on opening the door we were met with a musty smell , other issues were veneer broken on bathroom cabinet , mould in corner of shower , fridge had a large block of ice and was in need of defrosting , door saddles in poor repair , broken radiator valve , back missing on remote control and the batteries fell out every time it was used , dirt/foreign object stuck to curtain rail , the bathroom extract fan was filthy. Our buffet breakfast was inclusive in the price at the hotel , the bain marie had a total of 8 heat lamps to maintain the hot food and plate's temperature but only 3 of which worked , some of the food was luke warm at best , the plates were stone cold and by the time you got to the dining table the breakfast was unacceptably cold , the hotel itself was also in need of tlc long cracks/rips on the bar bench seats , staff were not very attentive (except for the lady in the spa/swimming pool area who was first class) pool also had some tiles missing on steps down in . NOT worth the cost for two nights !!!

The setting is fantastic

While the staff are friendly there’s no sense that guests are welcomed or really looked after. Reception was chaotic and breakfast was self- catering with no one around to help guests. Given the cost of the accommodation I would expect better standards of hospitality

Beautiful little Island

Such a beautiful place. This was our first time here. We came from Canada for a wedding at Lusty Beg Island. The ferry was convenient the place we stayed in was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff are so friendly. If we ever get a chance to come up here again we would definitely stay.

Do not stay if there is a wedding function.

Location. Good food. Friendly staff.

Don’t stay at the resort when there is a wedding party. The noise will stop you getting any sleep until 2am. Worst coffee at breakfast I have ever tried to drink. Room was not clean. Floor unswept.

The location is wonderful, beautiful scenery and surrounded by nature. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

We booked a Supetior Room, while the room was good especially the bathroom, it didn’t have a luxury feel. It felt practical and functional.

Location is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect. Some things in little disrepair, but didn't really matter . We had amazing trip

Beautiful setting and staff very friendly and helpful.

The cleaning off the property was not great. It would benefit from a good deep clean and better daily cleaning. The bedroom was full of cobwebs and spiders . I spent 10 minutes clearing away the cobwebs and spiders before my friends could sleep in the room.

The setting and the fact we were celebrating our friends wedding

When we arrived there was a que of 10 people at the main bar and very few bar staff which resulted in a wait of at least 15 minutes for a drink. The first morning we went for the buffet breakfast and stood at the podium which states ‘wait here to be seated’ we waited ten minutes and I went over to the restaurant to speak to a staff member and she said wait at the podium and someone will seat you…I then entered the breakfast area to find two young female staff standing chatting between themselves. On the Friday we waited 1 hour for a sandwich and salad at lunch time. I had asked after 30 minutes where the food was and the young girl told me it’ll be 2 minutes ‘there are a lot of dockets’ 25 minutes later a young man came to our table and asked ‘have you had your starter’ to which I told him we didn’t order starters and that we were waiting almost an hour for a sandwich and salad. Your hotel setting is beautiful but for the prices you are charging your service and offering needs to be much more polished!

The setting is absolutely beautiful and we liked the hotel and our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. It was a beautiful spot for the wedding we went to. Loved the pool and the changing facilities. We didn’t use the spa. Lots of choice for the buffet breakfast.

We would have liked more veggie choices for our evening meal and more options for breakfast that didn’t have sugar in.

Dogs should Not be in the bar/restaurant when dinner is being served. Dogs barking from 6 30am waking other guests. As a dog owner myself I found this unacceptable.

Lovely place , maintenance and cleanliness let's it down greatly

Have been to Lusty Beg many times. Love it , however I was disappointed to see it has been 'let go'. The spa area , the pool all could do with a serious clean. Outside what has the potential to be an amazing place to have your morning coffee is neglected without tables and chairs even cleaned. General running of the resort has lacked greatly. Where is the maintenance man and cleaners?

Lots of dogs in breakfast room barking when you are trying to have a peaceful breakfast. As it's a dog friendly place it would be much better if they were not allowed in the food areas. Not everyone wants dogs around them. Food for thought

The location is unmatched, but the facilities are below par. There is so much potential for this place to be great, it's just missing that special touch.

The room could have done with a mini fridge, and a good clean, was a very strong smell of varnish in the room. Also could have done with conditioner in the room along with the shampoo that was provided. Make sure to bring an umbrella if it rains because to get to the spa or for some food, you have to walk outdoors to get there. The staff in the restaurant are completely unbothered, we had to get their attention ourselves to order or if we required anything throughout the 3 courses, even though we were booked in, and even though it was mid-week and not busy at all, they just seemed to avoid people at all cost and it was clear to see there was a lack of management going on.

Incredible location

Rooms were very worn and very expensive for what you get. Smelt musty, and felt like they were last renovated about 40 years ago. (Stayed in one of the terrace houses)

Lusty Beg is perfect for families,

The location was superb. The facilities for families was top tier, especially water activities but they also had a great play area and tennis courts. The dinner was good, staff were lovely.

We booked a room expecting to be in a hotel but it was away from the main building. It is like a small village with rooms in different buildings, so a walk to the main building for food and drink etc. the buildings are a little tired.

Amazing Location! Beautiful Island location

I felt this property fell down on small details. They were missing that personal touch, they could benefit from either a manager or host who comes around during the stay to see if everything is ok, a lot of young staff or were polite but not warm/friendly. Also there was no drinking water provided in any of the rooms. This was very disappointing as we had to get up in the middle of the night to go down and fill our own water in the bar.

A hidden gem, well worth a visit.

It's quirky location and layout. The accommodation was comfortable and warm and we had lovely view of the lake from our window. The facilities were varied and suitable for all ages, from the Fairy Nature Trail and playground for the young to Spa and water sports for older. Only a quick visit for a family wedding but would definitely return for another visit to experience more of what is available.

There was nothing that I can think of- the place is just perfect.
