Trinidad Gingerbread House

Bernard and his wife were very friendly and accommodating, communication was excellent. The room was very clean and was tastefully decorated, was a good shape for a traditionally historic home. The king bed was the right firmness for us, not being swallowed up by the mattress lol! We were given keys, fob and code access to gain entrance to the property. Felt safe at all times. The rooms were surrounded by lush plants and trees. With a soaking pool for those hot Trini days. They are located near a busy, but convenient area, walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop (5am) etc. Convenient parking as well. Our stay was short and sweet. Our only drawback was not much sleep due to the wonderful sound of insects at night. Which is sometimes expected at a guest house stay in the Caribbean. At least we did NOT have barking dogs all night long. So if you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs for night time.

This is the great couple who run the apartments. Absolute warm welcome and care for guests. The Central location, safety, cleanliness, proximity to cafes and restaurants .

Room i was in was a bit outdated

What a hidden gem from the paradise look and feel to the warmth from the owners. Felt like I was living with nature and still close to the heart beat of the food and entertainment .

That I had to leave and wish I could stay forever!!!
