A good location for a short stay in Akureyri. The room was almost underground so very dark (just one small window on street level) but there was a good kitchen, a lot of room to sit, good beds, a good bathroom, free parking and the location is great (almost next to the Contemporary Art Museum).
There was a fish-cooking smell in the apartment so it might be a good idea to put up a sign saying not to cook fish / seafood as the smell stays for a long time even if you use the airconditioning. We saw such a sign in another apartment in Iceland.
