Fantastic rural location with lovely spacious yurts.

Excellent rural location, friendly and helpful hosts, the yurts were really spacious and very comfy beds. Good kitchen facilities, nice hot showers. Lots of bbq and fire pits and each yurt has a little private area. Would definitely come back.

Everything was great. The toilets can be a bit of a challenge with the camp at full capacity but we seemed to cope well.

Absolutely FRAN - Tastic!!!

We went with Family and friends. Something for everyone. Lots of places to explore on site and off. Very eco yet comfortable and snuggly. Owners go above and beyond. Kind and helpful making you feel at home and welcome. Would recommend and definitely will return. Great Value in all aspects! Kids loved mucking out the goats, following chickens, leaving presents for the fairies, hammocks and the park! Thank you so much! See you next year.

A family trip the kids will remember forever.

We had an amazing time here. It’s so lovely knowing that your children can run around the surroundings safely. Where it is located is absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed being off grid for a while. I will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful place

Lovely campsite in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. The yurts and tipis are great and well equipped. Communal areas nice too with everything you could possibly need. Fran is on site and available all of the time and very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our 2 day stay very much.

It was rather noisy due to a very large group who continued to talk until the early hours of the morning despite rules asking for quiet after 10pm. They also commandeered all the communal areas which made charging phones and washing up very difficult.

Absolutely peaceful and a great place to get away from busy life!

Great peaceful retreat. Very cosy atmosphere. Beautiful log fire inside, keeps you nice and warm if the weather isn’t great. We had a great time, played cards and enjoyed the peace. We walked around the property which had the most beautiful mushroom houses made by the owners, like a fairy garden. Just a very beautiful place altogether, very happy.

Nothing we didn’t enjoy, because of children at home with their grandparents, we had to keep our phones on with battery, so not having at least one plug to keep it charged was slightly inconvenient. However there is a plug in the communal kitchen not far from our hut.

Family getaway

Peaceful and fresh air helps to relax your mind from the norm. Kids loved being outdoors and going on adventures in the forest. The evening was really pretty with the fairy lights and the campfire.

I didn't know we had to create our own activities, the owner did an Easter egg hunt for the kids which was lovely but that was it.

Place was awesome and the host was super polite. Everything was greatly managed. Loved to live in the nature. First ever experience living in tent and it was amazing.

The weather didn’t much supportive, but the host provided all the facilities accordingly.

What a little gem - had a wonderful stay making memories with our children and grandchildren. So much fun all the facilities your need with a lovely host. Will be most definitely visiting again. Thank you for a memorable stay .

A wonderful experience

I loved the site, lovely yurts surrounded by forest, a play area and a labyrinth for the kids, everything we needed was there. The owners were lovely people who made us feel comfortable from start to finish, we enjoyed the campfires and the beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing I could say is that a bolt on the door would have been great just so I knew the little ones wouldn't leave by themselves.

The comunal area for pizza parties and group fire pit evenings. Loved the hosts Loved the location Loved the site and the detailed work and detail shown - a wonderful playground for children to roam around freely Very eco friendly

Lots of wasps last couple of days. As a light sleeper I struggled to sleep through the rain - we were unlucky and got a lot of rain. People leaving doors open did lead to bugs getting in showers and toilets - but not the hosts fault

Enchanting forest getaway.

The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. It is a beautiful site and I can’t fault the whole weekend. My children could have easily stayed playing on site in the forest all day if we hadn’t gone to loca attractions. Plus there are some very cool sheep.

I had a great time with my grandchildren, they shared a tipi with me and we loved it so much.

Everything about Larkhill was fantastic. The owner was so helpful and friendly. The owners have worked very hard to make a magical place to take children where they can play, explore and enjoy being out in nature. It was peaceful and quiet and relaxing

Magical Glamping Mini - Break

The setting was lovely. The design of garden areas was magical. Great environment for children. Well equipped Yurt, communal areas etc. Yurt was lovely, lots of attention to detail. Welcoming Host.

The only negative was the mattresses on the single beds were a bit thin. Seasoned campers would probably not notice this !

Een super ervaring in een mooie omgeving

What a beautiful place this is. Really enjoyed the beautiful wooded surrounding and the view over the valley (in our case). The yurt is very nicely decorated. The kitchenette in the yurt is equipped with all basic necessities and other things can be found in the communal kitchen. The shared toilet and showers are very clean. There is much to do and see in the area, such as the old town of Camarthen, the wool museum and the national botanical garden.
