Villa Garifallia

This is our second visit to Villa Garifallia and it was just as amazing as the first time stunning views, peaceful, everything you need to have a beautiful holiday.

Had an amazing week we were extremely surprised when we arrived to a fully renovated villa the location is stunning and the views are incredible.

Nothing

Incredible, panoramic views of Rethymno and ocean in the spacious, green garden. Beautiful balcony seating area with pink bougainvillea climbing the roof. Kitchen was stocked with good selection of utensils and crockery. Pool was clean and well tended too. Fresh eggs brought round from bird farm next door. Short walk up hill to maroulas town, a delightful village with the best restaurant - Tavern Katerina - definitely eat here!

The air con needs updating - it is quite loud in some of the bedrooms and very weak. Bottled water in the fridge on arrival would have been great, especially after late check-in and remote location.

View, but that is all

Nose from the chickens, turkeys, pigeons and dogs all hours, we got no sleep, that’s no exaggeration. Extreme amounts of flies due to all the animals from the property in the same grounds, right in-front of the villa. Toilets were disgusting, also only provided 1 toilet roll all week for 5 people.
