Beautiful, well equipped studio and a wonderful terrace and garden.

We had a wonderful few nights stay in this lovely studio. We also were really lucky with the weather and so made the most of the beautiful terrace and garden. Our host, Catherine, couldn’t have been more helpful.

Amazing

Everything, the beautiful surroundings, modern studio, fantastic owners made you welcome on arrival. Nice touches in the room for breakfast. Stunning place, our 2nd stay and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this place, we go away every month and don't go back to the same place, but we always did say we would return to Dafarn studio. It certainly does not disappoint. Plenty of places to visit, in a very good location. Thankyou Catherine for a wonderful stay

Lovely stay

I loved everything about the place it was a nice quiet setting just what we was looking for. Really nicely decorated. It was clean and It had everything we needed. It wasn't far from town centre. We will definitely be staying again

UTTERLY WELCOMING & COMFORTABLE LUXURY!

What was there not to like! Catherine was the ultimate host! So much so I have had to review my generosity to other hosts with a 5* review.... this is 6*....why, the comfort, the attention to detail, the location and the welcome we received. Communication was excellent, we couldn't fault a thing.

Nothing at all! The location is remote and quiet, we loved it, that could be a downside for some, however, there any many recommendations of where to go, what to do and where to eat.

Home from home with a welcoming host.

Such a lovely stay. We arrived a little late as we’d decided to take an afternoon hike up Snowdon. Catherine welcomed us so warmly when we arrived and shown us around the studio. It was gorgeous - exactly like the photos! We couldn’t fault the accommodation or amenities. The whole studio felt luxurious and the bed was super cosy! It felt like home from home. There was cereals, fresh bread and milk alongside a fancy coffee machine! We will 100% be back at some point to see more of the area.

Luxurious room in central location

Fantastic room, comfortable, luxurious, with plenty of natural light and all necessities provided complimentary (including milk and washing up liquid etc, which was really appreciated). Surrounded by lovely scenery and just a 5 min drive to town. Hosts were very nice and recommended nearby Newborough beach, which ended up being a cracking day out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place and surroundings.

Beautiful tranquil area. It was like being in a 5 star hotel suite. Lovely touch leaving bottles of water and breakfast items. We didn’t eat locally, we went a bit further a field with the recommendations which were great.

We did run out of coffee and sugar but I think this was an oversight and we could have easily asked for more. Certainly wouldn’t score any less for this. Pillows were a bit hard for us but totally personal taste. You won’t regret staying here.

Outstanding Studio apartment

The studio apartment is stunning, well equipped and very comfortable. It is also thoughtfully provisioned so that you do not have to go to the shops to get things for breakfast as soon as you get there. All essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread and butter are provide. Our host Catherine was away for par of the weekend but despite this was very attentive and kept in touch to ensure we were okay. When Catherine wasn't there her husband was welcoming and was able to answer any questions we had and give us a good recommendations for places to eat. If I come back to Anglesey again I would definitely try to stay here again.

Exceptional means EXCEPTIONAL

We were warmly greeted by our host, Catherine, upon arrival and immediately felt ‘at home’. The entire experience which sadly only comprised a one-night stopover far exceeded our expectations, hence the title of our review. Whilst we are experienced travellers we rarely, if ever, book private homes, I’m happy to say that Dafarn Newydd has challenged that habit. We will be returning and have already made strong recommendations to our Irish friends who travel through Anglesey regularly. Thank you.

This place is a little gem, and we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to stay there.

I booked this as a surprise for my wife. When we arrived she could not believe that we were staying in such a beautiful place. She said she felt like a millionaire for the day. It was gorgeous. We will definitely be going back in the summer. If you are thinking of booking to stay here, don’t hesitate just do it you won’t be disappointed.

We didn’t like the fact that we had to leave. 😉

Idyllic break away

Dafarn Newydd is an exceptional place with easy access to all key areas. The kitchenette is extremely well equipped with everything you need. The space is luxurious and peaceful. I was sad to leave and wanted to stay longer.

Great room with a great host

The location was great, the room was very comfortable with tea/ coffee and basic breakfast items provided. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. The host Catherine was very helpful, providing plenty of local information and helping us book a taxi and even driving us to an event we were attending.

The room lock was not very effective and the door rattled.
